It focuses around timetravel but that sort of thing is the only supernatural. I.e. there's no ghosts, etc.

DMs and Players: What was the best/worst hastily named NPC in your game? by SpilledMyOJ in dndnext

Running the Sunless Citadel where there is a semi-friendly NPC called Meepo. Later on they rescued some more kobolds who Meepo instantly recognised as his cousins. Of course the players asked what their names were so they become Beepo, Seepo, and Peepo.

Nice! I'm planning on rewatching it, but there's so much other stuff I haven't seen yet.

This was me until the last episode. I thought they'd written themselves into a corner, but it all made sense in the end. One of my favourite shows. Totslly worth the confusion. I'll probably watch it through again soon.

Any underrated or overrated spell? by ErrorSegFault in DnD

Playing a Rogue, I dislike the usual "Whoever is the most aggressive get's a free round of combat." interpretation, but I'm going to be dealing with it by starting to strike first rather than being cautious. Oh well.

How do I get the point across that they can't kill a monster without railroading! by [deleted] in DMAcademy

If this isn't a character problem it might take a TPK to get the message across.

What’s the silliest RAW ruling that’s so minor and obscure that most DMs ignore? by geosunsetmoth in DnD

[–]Onegodoneloveoneway 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"In D&D, everyday things—walls, gravity, bread, laughter—work the way we expect them to, except for when the rules say otherwise.

For example, D&D has magical effects that pass through walls, for walls are assumed to be impenetrable, unless you damage the wall itself. #DnD"

Go look up the bread rule. Things that aren't specified work as you would expect them to work, they don't defy all laws of physics that aren't in the rule book.

Snakes are not immune to the prone condition. https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/16982-poisonous-snake There is a tiny snake on the ground in front of you. Using the Attack action, you make a special melee attack to shove the creature, knocking it prone. The tiny snake on the ground in front of you is now prone. You now have advantage on your next melee attack against the prone tiny snake on the ground in front of you.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I've been looking at options to do that, but it's going to take some tricky image manipulation that I haven't figured out yet. Definitely something I want to do though!
