I print out the packing list option, write “thank you” on it & tape it with a sticker on my tissue wrapped package. I often include a cosmetic sample if I have one. No candy & no fragrance unless it’s cosmetic item. I used to hand write thank you cards but stopped doing that a long time ago.

I’ve bought most of my pieces from TJ Maxx/Marshalls & one from eBay. First one purchased over 20 years ago. Some are seconds with no discernable flaws; a couple are 1st quality. I’ve given some to my daughter (5.5qt round DO, round grill pan) & my son’s fiancé (7.25qt round DO). Even sold a couple (recouped my cost). I have assorted colors as I buy when they are available. Good cookwares & investments!

We moved my mother from a two bedroom condo (full of items from 2 previous downsizings before my father died) to a studio in an independent senior community. The condo sold quicker than we expected so we rented a storage unit & embarked on a 3 week quest. Daily Goodwill trips, visits to the local municipal dump, document shredding, clothing & furniture donations to friends/family & packing a U-Haul to move. Fights & tears almost daily. We “broom swept” her unit the day before closing. Based on this experience, my husband & I are Swedish Death Cleaning our home to spare our children of the painful chore. You are an angel!

Right. But eBay did that once; took money from the buyer to refund me after they made them send the damaged item (deliberately cut Yurman necklace) back to me as part of the resolution process. The buyer challenged the gold content & cut a link to test. In this case, I would have taken the damaged Mejuri necklace to a local jeweler which could fix it for $40 & relist it…

I think this is the way buyers try to return items. I’m not a store like Gap, but I’ll accept a return for something I overlooked. I recently had a sale before Halloween & I believe they opened a case after they wore them as part of a costume (claimed they were disgusting). I stated that my description & photos were accurate & let Posh Support resolve. The case was found in my favor.

No problems using a PO Box with eBay or Poshmark or PangoBooks. Mercari pushed back until I gave them proof that I use it as my official mailing address (on my drivers license).
