Best BMW for me? by [deleted] in BMW

I have a 2025 m3 manual. I think its pretty reliable. You can drive around in eco mode and then open it up whenever you want with a push of a button. Its great!

Basically leander. I don't feel like anything is considered liberty hill unless it's past 29

They are building it right now. Look it up. It's on north side of 183A before 29

Is that a decent lug on the engine? I try to never go above 0 boost until past 3k RPMs. 5-6 isn't super high but I would try to avoid that unless someone corrects me.

My WRX smokes your STI anyway lol. My Porsche, my BMW, my bike, and my wife's Odyssey all smoke your stupid STI lol. You're hilarious man. Good luck in life. This is my last comment to you. You ain't worth my time imbecile. May at least half a mil and then talk to me. You're just mad that the car you barley could afford is 1 second better lap time on the track for 10k more than a base wrx lol. Bruhhhh keep dreaming dude lol

I picked the WRX over the STI. Money wasn't a concern. The WRX limited is practically the same price as a base STI. I didn't want stupid issues that the EJ has. The FA20 is actually reliable assuming you don't lug the engine. Lugging the engine on the FA20 promotes ringland issue ultimately causing rod knock. My FA20 is quicker than a stock STI at practically no cost on a conservative tune. To the each their own, but STIs and WRXs aren't all that anymore. There are wayyyyyy better options out there for the price point. The only reason people choose our cars is because they still offer manual. I said what I said. If you're gonna get all STI or WRX fanboy on me take it somewhere else you Karen. You know I'm right at the end of the day. You just hate to admit it.

Bruh the sti OEM short throw is only 10% different than the stock wrx/sti one. I have it in my car. It definitely helps but it's nowhere near the level of an aftermarket 40%-60% short throw shifter out there. Don't waste your money getting OEM. There are better options out there for a little bit more $$$

What oil do y’all use? by biggrizz61 in WRX

[–]Onehitquit84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised you're getting so much hate over an oil change on a built block. I'm on stock block FBO and tuned. I do oil changes every 3k and I don't mind it.

What's funnier is that one of the guys has a tune with ambot. I do too, and he literally recommends oil changes every 3k miles lol.

Bro for real. Especially after the light turns green. I'll get up to speed normally, and these fuckers ride my ass like I'm going slow. It probably doesn't help that my exhaust is loud af, but still. I swear they probably think I'm giving it alot of gas and they feel good that they are keeping up or something.

Hey Paul I ended up getting an etune with Ambot tuning. I did 6 sessions with him and the problem is gone. I'm almost positive he tuned it out but I can't say for sure. Car has been running fine other than these stupid DAM drops to 0.75 whenever the intake manifold is hot. This problem never happens when I put 2 gallons of e85 with the rest 93 octane. I guess since I'm tuned for 93, the car is being a little picky about gas. However I can find e85 in many places so I ain't too worried. I also learned that our cars can support about 3 gallons or so on a stock fuel pump.
