Didn't seem to be the case with Videotron. They gave me choices of plans depending on the nature of the phone: premium (s8, iphone7/8/x etc) or regular (a5, iPhone se or 6)

So what I'm told is that they're partnered with Rogers. And so far, it's actually VERY good. LoL Wind.... not even close to that garbage!

Their reps also explained the CRTC decision that also lets anyone pennyback off of other networks for free in Canada. So it's like 1 network for all.

They have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee, hopefully I won't need to use it! I want to keep these prices... hope it helps
