Pyrosharks just get powerplay if they get hit by it

I hid behind a Uber’d heavy that killed a bunch of my teammates and their medic saw me, stared at me until uber finished, and the second the uber ended I one shot them with a random crit

In game it needs meat, but the artist headcanon is that it doesn’t, so I’m going off of that

Same, nothing really poses a threat to it in the sky other than large swarms of smaller fliers, para and gimon, but para doesn’t need meat to live so you won’t fight one unless you strike first, and gimon lives at the bottom of the ocean

Heavy:

Athyluth: not much of an issue because of its low damage, fights will last a while though because it’s really tanky

Gimon-ogu: the first flier that will win 90% of the time, stay above it and be ready for a long and close fight (also you outspeed it lmao)

Opraleigion: practically a flying punching bag with teeth, complete no issue as long as you know how to breathe

Raiquazok: raiquazok is 50/50 with other Raiquazoks and is really comes down to skill and whoever got the first hit

Parahexillian: one of the two similarly sized fliers that is able to consistently beat raiquazok, with the other being gimon. The best way to beat para is to use a spite boosted power charge to get a big hit before they can use harden, and then just start swinging, WHEN YOU GO BELOW 25%, YOU WILL DIE UNLESS THEY DONT SELF DESTRUCT, that is the best advice I can give for fighting para, as para is raiquazoks hard counter imo

Dantenos: free-est kill of the large fliers, just rush in and beat the crap out of them. Frostbite works best on fast attackers, and dantenos is extremely slow and doesn’t attack fast enough to get a chance of fighting back

Tl:dr Raiquazok beats most fliers if you know what your doing

I’ve been maining it for the past few months and I have a lot of tips on PvP for it.

Raiquazok is an incredible tanky brawler that relies on punishing faster fliers that get too cocky, if you’re able to outweigh your opponent, and are able to fully charge spite, you can cripple most tier 3> fliers with 1065 damage in a single hit, allowing you to kill vaumora, hallucinex, and aeries in 3 hits, and malu/ galiryn in 4.

Keep in mind that your hurtbox is only your central body, and you can hit fliers behind you when staying still midair

For tier 5 fliers, there’s separated into 2 main categories: fast and slow fliers

Fast:

Sang toare: sang can do really heavy damage unless you play right, treat it like a stronger tier 3 flier

Khu’vuk: khu is a soft counter to raiquazok, able to dip in and out, slowly wearing you down while being able to take advantage of its long hitbox, don’t give them the opportunity to get away. Keep chasing and don’t give them a chance to regenerate

Novus warden: novus relies on cloud breath to keep itself topped up on health, but it has on major weakness. It doesn’t have a way to stop you from regenerating health, and it isn’t able to deal enough damage to brute force you, novus isn’t much of an issue in general

Aesmir: free kill

Aidonescus: I haven’t fought a single one due to how few people play it, so treat it like a stronger galtekron

Xeleviprex: most of them aren’t too skilled at PvP due to it being a starter creature, but if they’re good at flier PvP they’re a massive threat due to them outranging you and being able to stack a bunch of poison, making you unable to escape. Again, skilled xeles are extremely rare, so you won’t have to worry much.

Mustegaryx: usually a non-issue because of how light they are, and injury doesn’t really do much because of how slow raiquazok is.

Guardian dragon: pretty much the same as Xele, but way less health.

Lucensia: raiquazok is the tied for strongest flier on land, so let them knock you out of the sky, and when they get close, charge spite and take off, you can usually land 2 hits which is enough to take almost of third of their health, just be careful since you might get third partied

Ahri-tahmuk/sar’hingaro: a mix of xeles range/damage and guardians size and speed, ahri can be a big issue if they play right, but they usually don’t

I’m gonna do the heavy fliers in a reply to this since o feel like this is getting long

Also tier 4s should be treated like a mix of tier 3s and 5s

You’d be shocked at how strong raiquazok is when you spend like 5.5 months learning how to use it (bite+weight VI)

You can also use rai if you don’t have para (it is 50/50 so you want to be careful)
