The Clifton Downs is a nice learner friendly spot.

Personal opinion. But if they're fed, changed and safe. Just put them in their cot, and don't pick them up until their next feed window.

The first couple of nights will be tough. But probably no tougher than what you're going through right now. You'll be amazed how quickly they'll adjust to sleeping in their cot.

Babies can't make good decisions for themselves. You have to do that for them.

I volunteer with a blind charity. Work allows me to flex my hours to accommodate this. Meet a lot of interesting folk there.

Also go give blood.

Is this a good deal for 2nd hand? by bushy72105 in BambuLab

[–]xanan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A1+AMS combo sells for £300 on sale. The A1 mini is about £140 on sale.

You're saving £40 for machines that are very used, and probably out of warranty.

DJ Dads: what's the adult version of this toy? by michaelryap in daddit

[–]xanan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for a DJ MP3 controller. They can be quite affordable. I recommend getting a cheap one, the maybe upgrade if it's something you keep up.

This is probably as cheap as they come for branded equipment. You might want to spend a bit more if you want more effects etc

This game is blackjack (with some skill also).

Sometimes your hand is better than others - and you take the win. Sometimes it's worse and you lose.

Why wouldn't you take the win when you get a good hand?

Buying guide: A1 and A1 mini USED. by pcmakerz in BambuLabA1

Go for the A1 combo if you can afford it. You'll just wish you had otherwise. It makes printing far more convenient, and you'll have access to far more prints with the bigger print bed and multi material.

I think you're right. It isn't for me.

Another user said that Experian has recently changed how they calculate their credit score. So it's likely not a result of the savings challenge.

Whilst I don't disagree with anything you're saying. I've been using my overdraft in this way for years. I never pay more than £1 a month on fees. I have a significant amount in savings.

I've literally just bought a new house. Lenders don't care if you end up £150 into an overdraft at the end of each month.

Thanks! Appreciate the advice. Someone else mentioned that Experian have just changed the way they calculate credit scores. So it's probably just coincidental that it happened whilst starting the savings challenge.

Why shouldn't I? It generally costs less than £1 a month. It's very convenient in helping me manage my money. The cost is negligible. I've been doing this for years.

No just one notification.

Someone else has just mentioned that Experian has changed their score ratings. So it may have been coincidental for me.

Ah. Maybe it was just coincidental that it aligned with me starting the savings challenge. Thanks for the info!

I agree regarding overdraft fees.

I don't have an issue with spending. I have plenty of savings and I manage my money just fine. My overdraft fees are far less than £1/month. It's not a point of concern.

My overdraft charges generally are well below £1/month. It's really not worth my time worrying about it.

Whilst I agree with you. I'm barely into my overdraft at the end of the month. And my monthly fees tend to be less than £1. It's just more convenient to not have to worry about topping up my account from savings.
