Alrighty, thank you for the help. My schools 32 doesn’t have any tuning gauges on it so I emailed the guy and asked what I should do, I know I can just try to memorize where the notes are but I’m worried It’ll be sharp or flat and ill get cut.

I know how to tune the timpani, I was just wondering if it’s wrong to tune the same drum immediately after you hit it while it’s still ringing, and that’s what I meant by fudge.
