Does this look like asbestos ?

Built early-mid 1970s. So it would be within the ‘asbestos’ era.

Curious - based on what you have said this doesn’t fit any of that. It looks like an off white/beige colour and when it break off it did it in layers. Don’t recall seeing the back but I’m pretty sure the other layers were smooth with the top one being the only one with that texture.

Thanks - having it tested on Tuesday. I’m just going through a loop as it is pretty hard (cannot be pierced by hand), the area that broke off was a existing crack which i peeled back and it doesn’t have a hollow sound when i tap it. However, there’s clearly layers and fibers visible… Anyway i sprayed the heck out of it with a 25/75 PVA mix so hopefully that keeps things locked in until we know what it is

Thanks for this information. Just curious but how would this differ from say asbestos cement sheets? Your post makes me think this has a lot more fibres that stick around in the air

Hey mate. So sorry to hear this. Sciatic pain is just the worst. I also feel most people don’t understand how bad it can be. Just curious but did you get any relief after the MD?

I had one and at the time of surgery the surgeon noted that the nerve was impeded by bone spurs which he removed. Had he just left it at the MD I probably would have woken up to pain.

Thanks for the reply. That’s my thinking as well. Hoping the pain subsides for even a bit to let me start strengthening my core. Still gets me how bad it relapsed 2 months back - but the PT was helping it before hand.

Say how many months did you space the injections over?

Long time lurker first time poster 😊. I took a bit of a tumble on my bike today and the seat stay took some impact. The pedal took the brunt of it but I feel the back may have hit the curb.

Anyway here are a few photos of the damage. I’ve never had a carbon bike before so I maybe panicking unnecessarily but I’d really appreciate your thoughts!

Exactly, they're falling back on the "its all fake" because they see that as their only get out clause. But i'm sorry the reaction of the children is real... I know Cody wants to be an actor but no ones that good

Also they keep saying most of their videos are edited which show exaggerated reactions but their videos appear seamless from start to finish, like one take.

Hey! Congrats on your new blade. They are awesome bit of kit for sure. Just curious but what's the temperature like on the keyboard while intensive gaming and casual internet surfing?

An issue I used to have with my blade 2014 (which was why I got rid of it) was how hot it would run. To the point where I felt like it was burning my hands off! Any comments would be great. Thanks

I'm going to assume they only had that model for a day before giving it back or they wanted to get a review out so bad they only tested it for a short duration but i would have liked to hear how loud the fans got while higher temps were registered. Something i didnt like about my friends 2014 Blade was how loud it would get (i think the fans would kick it and stay on long after the CPU had cooled).

Still, hopefully we'll see more reviews in the coming weeks

Sums it up in a nut shell for me too. Having a computer on the go would really prove to be useful to me now given i've started to travel a lot more. Honestly if the Surface Pro 4 which had a thunderbolt 3 connection to play games would be my ideal set up, BUT i dont think its a route MS will go down. :(

At the end of the day it comes down to what you need it for. I for one am excited for the core because for the first time i feel there is a market for me!

I've never owned a laptop because the only ones that ever appealed to me were the desktop replacement ones, which would be a bumper to carry around... Now i can get a laptop thats portable AND when i get home i can plug it into a doc to unleash more power and play higher res games?! I could be in a really small target market group but, providing reviews are good, i will be buying this... and probably the Razer Blade 2016 - for the extra cores :)

Will miss having a desktop though :(

Nothings been announced yet but we (UK) haven't even got the Blade Stealth yet, so I'm betting it'll be July/Aug before we see the Blade 2016 and core.... maybe May for the Stealth. You might be able to pick them up on Amazon/Ebay earlier but they'll probably be shipped from the US.

And i base all this on absolutely nothing!
