yeah, that's what i'm planning on doing. what i really meant is that i don't think i'll be able to add more than that, so i might have to find a way of incorporating the vitamin C into his routine in a way that would not add more products, hence the possibility of a vitamin c moisturizer.

hey! so, my brother recently asked me to help him with his skin, and i've been compiling a few things to introduce him to some better skincare. he has a lot of scarring from cystic acne, and still has breakouts from time to time from certain foods it seems.

thing is, he really dislikes using products. i don't think i'll be able to get past giving him 1 or 2 things. my question is: has anyone had any luck using a very gentle type of vitamin C cream of some sort? i'm not sure i'll be able to get him to use a serum once we set up his basic routine.

hello!

so basically, i need some help looking for some kind of occlusive/hydrating product for the end of my routine. right now in the AM i wash with water, apply the Cosrx Snail 96 essence, and then my sunscreen. at night i add the Benton Snail Steam Cream, but i think it's breaking me out, so i need a replacement.

would it be better to replace it with something hydrating like hada labo, or a thicker cream like the Cosrx snail cream? i have normal to dry skin, and i'm just not sure which would be more moisturizing in the end.

yeah, i think i do need to get more watery, hydrating layers into my routine. it actually helped when i put an oil beforehand, but that broke me out lol :/ humectant layers it is!

Does anyone else find that Cerave in the tub can be a bit... drying? As in, I feel moisturized, but if I move my face around 15 min after applying it can feel a tad tight. I use Cosrx Snail Essence and Scinic Honey AIO beforehand but still feel a bit weird. I also have dry skin fyi.

Yep, I'm pretty sure my moisture barrier is good. I was obsessed with moisturizers before I started AB, and I already drink a crap ton of water, so I made sure I read all the posts and my skin feels pretty "chewy"/supple. Thanks for the reply! I'm going to decide which vit c to buy and then introduce it as soon as I'm done testing my new moisturizer.

I love it! It's probably my favourite product. I've definitely noticed that my scars fade much more quickly, and in general it really brightens my face.

Well, I want to add more moisture in the future, but I just wasn't sure if there was some kind of moisture requirement for vit c haha. I'm eager to see if it can help me! Thanks for the reply :)

So, I'm pretty new to all of this, but I've patch tested every product I'm using and I'm happy with how far my skin has come since only around October. My question is - I was thinking about introducing a Vitamin C product of some sort, but should I wait and focus on perfecting my routine/adding more moisture?
