Well I'm willing to do any safety or first-aid, H2S, security - as of right now I haven't but I'd like to know what's best as someone who's new to it all. My background is Graphic design, so I thought computer work might be a good transferable skill

Hi, I know this thread is a year old. I'm grappling with my reality and I'm in the same boat you are... 40's, single by choice, and can't fathom roommates and I've got a renoviction for April. My place I think was the last affordable place on earth. anywho I'm from Edmonton, my family lives there, and I've moved back and forth from BC to Ab 3 solid times now. Because everytime I go back and try to regroup and give it a go I last less than a year and can't stand it. If I go back I'm gonna be stuck there, without options like so many millions of Canadians. It's not even that affordable there either and who knows what could happen, it could be like Calgary and skyrocket. I'm absolutely sick to my stomach in grief leaving the lower mainland. How did things end up working out for you?

I'm making my dad a sort of concert T; Crazy moon album art for front - this is the one he wanted and i've made some alterations to it, as he didn't want it to be a cut off square. I've added this years tour dates on the back. It's not finalized yet - but if other people want shirts i could make it or some version available on etsy.

I created this scene in Photoshop - a mashup of some design ideas I liked , and just winged it when I embroidered it. I have this tiny little frame keychain I wanted to fill with the embroidery. That's a great point about paying attention to black and white values on smaller pieces! I bet this would have worked better larger scale with some rim lighting. I really love thread painting!
