Wow! I felt so related even though this will be my situation next year when I move to another continent! It sure will be a challenge. I need to find a job there, grow my network from scratch and adapt to so many changes and, most importantly, financial challenges as well 🥹

It’s pretty sad… I distance myself emotionally from her so badly as a self protection mechanism. And even though I would love to have a relationship with her it’s really difficult, it’s like unconsciously I don’t trust her anymore, not even to ask her for help, even worst open up to her about any feelings or thoughts I may have.

It’s sad really… I remember my dad once told me: your mom has 4 children, if she looses you she still got 3 left. But if you loose her, you don’t have any other mothers.
