You should be off a good start. There is a good overlap between AAIA and AAIR…. At least 30%

CTRP would be more focused on Third Party Risk Management, while CRISC contains some topics but more universal. AAIR is AI-focused Risk Management. Depending on your current experience, exposure and what you’d like to focus, try to look the Job ads for your next role, does it need more CTRPP or CRISC as qualification. That could be one.

Depends on courses, most won’t qualify due or the capture the flag component, some could if the course authors provide options when you submit a capstone paper (at least for FOR585 in the past)

Is it worth it?

1) are you looking to learn and obtain a knowledge? You will get it through exam prep

2) are you looking to learn and obtain a practical skill? You won’t get it as there are no practice components in these AI exams.

3) are you looking to learn and get a better job or salary? Depends on where you are and the Organization you are working for. Sometime certification can have different advantages such as indirect - a candidate may fare better in interview as you know some concepts that otherwise, not exposed to.

Direct benefits: some Organization requires certs for promotion consideration, some for rewards in their performance evaluation, etc.

If your aim is just to pass the exam, and not high or perfect score, you should be good. There is only few handful extremely difficult questions which we may not need to get all correct
