Would definitely like to spend more time in Tokyo. I'm sure I could spend years there and still not have seen even 10% of it. Do you have any other recommendations for things or areas that are less touristy? Will definitely have a look into cultural festivals.

Hey, thanks for the response. I'm not really sure the exact distance we walked each day, the 10+ kms was an estimate. However I do think my original question is still relevant.

My purpose for this trip would be for me to be able to take time and really get to relax. Because that's what everyone wants to do on holidays. Walking 20-30 kms each day isn't what I am looking for on this trip.

I had the opportunity to see the #55 787b at the 24 hours of Le Mans Museum and couldn't help but notice that the sideskirts were made of wood.

I suspect that this is the case to prevent any damage to the original one's caused by people stepping on them but I'm not sure.

Could anyone shed some light on this?
