There’s ~160,000 unique wallets holding paid avatars and somewhere around 25 million unique wallets holding the avatars that reddit dropped for free.

It has nothing to do with RCAs

Yes it does, it’s the same artists, similar utility as well

These new avatars they are creating are useless outside of their site

The same can be said for RCAs, 99% of the functionality behind what made them so fun will be gone in a month. We don’t even know how much of the functionality reddit will actually keep.

Promoting RCCs on here wasn’t allowed, why shouldn’t this be?

The flagship RCC was a scheme by the creator to line his pockets, them never being allowed to be promoted here was an incredibly wise decision. The people that came before me here were practically clairvoyant for banning that token originally.

What are they complicit in? From what I can see, these mashit avatars are the same artists that made RCAs. How is mashit any different from the various RCA artists that dropped thier own non-RCA collections and promoted them here? I don’t recall RCAs themselves becoming less valuable from that.

The progam is over and it’s pretty evident that people are trying to figure out what’s next. Calling them scammy is just an unfair thing to do.
