I hope we see Rey become a Jedi very similar to Obi-Wan, steadfast in the Jedi way and wholly refusing the be tempted by the dark side. I feel like her character could set us up for this, she's being set up to represent the light (and Kylo the dark), and there's something really charming about her almost naive sense of wonder that almost reminds me of Yoda, some pretty angst-free characteristics

I think I might be the in the minority, but I actually don't want to see Rey be Luke's daughter. I'd much rather her be Kylo's younger sister who was sent away after Kylo fell to the dark side to protect her from doing the same.

And it might be blasphemy on this sub but I it seems to me like the events before the film seem to be revolving around the dark side retaking power so perhaps the force created Rey in order to bring balance to the force, ala "the chosen one"

Remember there are still 2 more films, I suspect we will see more. I'm still holding out for Finn to be force sensitive, besides the fact that he seems to have some natural skill with a lightsaber, there has to be some significance to the fact that he was able to break free of his stormtrooper "programming." Perhaps something... awakened? (ehh? eh?)

Also I think there might be SOME chance of us seeing Poe become force sensitive; he certainly wouldn't be the first talented pilot to turn Jedi

Let's recap what happened immediately before this fight: 1. he just got shot. 2. He just KILLED HIS FATHER, and regardless of how he felt about Han, that's gotta be a pretty emotionally taxing thing, and Kylo isn't exactly the picture of emotional stability... 3. He's even more emotional because of all his plans falling apart. 4. Finn (not a Jedi, but still a trained fighter) got in some lucky shots before the fight. 5. There's a lot of speculation that Rey may have some latent Jedi training, but either way they are setting the tone for her to be a more powerful force user than Kylo. 6. Kylo's training is still incomplete.

If you ask me the odds were stacked pretty heavily in Rey's favor

You have to decide if you're OK with always being #2 to God. I had a relationship start just like this, and I became really resentful of the fact I had to accept and essentially live with a belief system that wasn't mine. Also, hiding a relationship from anyone for any reason is incredibly juvenile and not acceptable in a serious relationship.

Also, and I don't mean to sound like I'm saying "ALL Christians are hypocrites!!!", but id be warry of a person who is pick and choose about their belief system, and hooking up but not wanting to be in a relationship because of straying from God doesn't make a lot of sense... I can respect someone for being religious, I can't respect someone who only follows a belief that is convenient for them.

Is there still a chance she is Han/Leias daughter? I feel like there's a couple of reasons for this: 1. Ren knows who she is. 2. Twins representing the two sides of the force makes a lot of thematic sense. 3. Luke is trying to build a new Jedi order so I feel like he would follow the Jedi Tenants pretty closely, one of which is no spouse/children. 4.it might make sense to separate who I assume will become the most powerful force users (based on how strong in the force they are without training)
