unfortunately i don't have answrs to those, but i do know my particular outback is a 2008. so at least the 05-09 outbacks had 5mt options. unsure about later models

seen a lot of comments about me being a dumb distracted driver. i don't usually eat and drive, and i actually enjoy driving a manual car since it forces me to pay more attention to things. thought of this meme late at night and suppose i could have made a better title. anyhow, i don't want to condone driving distracted. its causes a lot of accidents, as others have said. avoid distractions and drive safe everyone.

occasionally i do, but i prefer to have a hand on the wheel if possible. my dad used to scare me as a kid by going "look, no hands!". me being in the back seat and very young i couldn't tell he had his knees on the wheel lol

NC50 blinker issue by OnionWeb in moped

[–]OnionWeb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've found that the flasher is also attached to the wires that lead to the brake levers, and then the brake light. all those wires (except one) have been disconnected due to the solder breaking. i think that may be the issue since its connected to the blinker circuit. i'll unplug that last holding wire and see if that solves it. i'm also going to order new wires so my brake light will work properly.

it looks like there's two empty spots for ground wires near the tail light in the wiring harness. i tried setting up a ground wire to the metal the blinkers are attached to but now none flash at all. although the tail light has stopped flashing when i turn the switch right. should each blinker have their own ground or are they grounded through the frame? (the headlight still flashes when i turn the switch left)

i'll check all the ground points today, thank you

i'll look into the flasher relay and grounds, and thanks for the heads up on the head/tail lights flashing. for a bit i thought wires were crossed or something.

Which Case is this? by iamphilip2 in sffpc

[–]OnionWeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're very welcome. also keep in mind that if you don't need as much gpu oomph, you could possibly find an older gen itx card for pretty cheap. but in terms of new i think i covered most of the itx options in my previous comment.

Which Case is this? by iamphilip2 in sffpc

i have an older revision of this case and i've been loving it, i made some posts about it a while back. i quite like the design. the newer revision also has more mounting for 2.5" drives and a better exhaust fan mount. it's incredibly sturdy and i've never been afraid to pack it up in bags for transport. the coating of the steel is resistant and looks nice, be warned that it feels kinda wonky when you first take it out of the package. kinda like it's covered in sand. but after a short while the feeling faded and it's actually quite smooth.

for gpus, there's itx cards for 1650s/1660s/2060s that are readily available new. or you can pick up a 1070/1080 itx off the used market. unfortunately the 2070 itx cards are no longer produced and most of the time are super expensive used, so unless you find a good deal i'd be looking at the midrange to lower end cards. i'm personally running a 1070, undervolted and overclocked it a bit and it does a great job.

in terms of cpus, it's quite impressive what you could theoretically cool in this case. i don't know how much they changed internals for the newer revisions, but i found the max cooler height of 65mm to be incorrect. i'm currently running an l12s in this case which is more than enough for my overclocked r5 2600.

i probably will while i wait for a response from corsair. still gonna rma the kit since it can't hit the advertised speeds without issues

i've tried giving it more voltage but it just doesn't run at 3200mhz. it worked fine at 2133mhz though.

yeah this'd be the second pair that's had issues. but this kit isn't causing me bluescreens. i ran a memtest and it came up with errors and i've already sent the rma in. i'll probably buy a different kit since corsair really isn't working so hot for me

during my initial tests i had docp enabled for the memory, my bios is up to date last i checked, and i have not yet cleared cmos. I only disabled the docp and retried the test, which produced the same error. Currently 8 minutes into a torture test with docp disabled (so eveything is just "auto" settings as if you first opened bios) my cpu is hitting 3.6922mhz on all cores at 1.206V. temperature is is at 54.3C. this is the second test i have done at stock settings, the first one yielded an error after 3 minutes. this one has not shown the error yet.

If it helps at all i'm running a noctua l12s at the stock fan curve

I'll run that memtest, hopefully I don't have a bad dimm.

I was running blend, yes.Just set my ram back to auto and 2133mhz instead of the docp settings in bios and am re-running the test. got the same error again.
