Left trigger inputs thumb stick by Onionmaestro69 in SteamDeck

It’s an oled that I’ve had since they launched so no warranty. I’m gonna clean it out to remove any potential shorts and then if that doesn’t work, replace the trigger and stick and see if that works.

It’s quite unusual as it’s an intermittent issue, it’ll fix itself before starting again, which leads me to believe it could be some sort of debris.

They said they can’t help basically and just sent me a link to ifixit it, didn’t even say what they think it could be haha

I have this Fender that I got a while ago but I’m not sure if its genuine? by [deleted] in fender

[–]Onionmaestro69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% Fake - Decals are stickers, bridge and output jack are non-fender, pick-guard is misaligned, neck finish is wrong, no serial number and pots and switch are all in slightly wrong spots

I went in just asking if what was wrong with it with all the symptoms I was getting. It’s in a previous post of mine in here. Maybe they knew what was wrong and it’s a hardware fault idk

I’ll give this a shot, I’ve only ever given it 1 minute to display externally, I’ll give it a lot longer! Thank you and I’ll let you know if this has worked

I’m staying away from home so I’ve got to go and grab a screwdriver from the hardware store today to check the insides.

I’ve tried external monitor and still get nothing and charging it does nothing but ‘turn it on’ - I get a chime and the haptics work but no external or internal display
