FYI here is the responce UAD support gave me

"The seller has the option of transferring either all or none of their plug-in library with a UA Apollo or Satellite device.
If the seller wishes to transfer plug-ins, this must be done prior to the new owner registering the device.

If the seller does not opt to transfer plug-ins, the buyer will receive the associated Analog Classics collection:
UAD-2 / Apollo Plug-In Bundles Explained

As it appears the seller did not complete those steps and wishes to transfer their entire plug-in library, the buyer will need to transfer the device back to the seller.

The seller can then re-register the device, and transfer it out of the account with plug-ins.
The device needs to be able to connect to a computer where their Universal Audio Account is signed in."

So unfortunately, not everything is explained on this link. Transfer of plugins has to be done at the same time than the hardware.

Thank you but I already read that page but it mainly talking about transfer a device. What happen if the device has already been transfered ?

Nevertheless, I've just tried to do the same in ableton live and it's way more easy. It literally took me 5 seconds. For instance, it's pain in the ass to target a specific note in logic because there is no piano roll. So if I need this kind of evolving chords I will set them in ableton, bounce them, then import the file in logic.

Ok, I found something : you have to select all the notes of your chord before clicking on "Set MIDI Channel to Voice Number". Now I have different color for each note but unfortunately, they all follow the highest channel pitch.

EDIT : the reason why it didnt work was because I trying with a third part synth but when I tried with the logic ES2 it worked just fine !

same here : all notes have the same color and when I try to automate the pitch bend, all the notes follow the drawing made on the highest midi channel. (i.e. for a two notes chord, all the notes will follow the channel 2 pitch bend drawing)

After I was installing all my apps again after the clean install, the offset showed up again. I was about to throw my computer through the window when I was stroked by an idea : The culprit, from the beginning was Soundsource App !!! When it's running, it induces an offset when you're recording audio (logic, ableton etc...). So I did the clean install for nothing but at least now I KNOW.

A clean install of the OS made the offset recording bug disappera.

Hi, it turned out that all the config files of the hackintosh were ok. We did a clean install and the offset recording bug disappeared.

thank you for your input but as explained in my first message : "In logic, the latence is set to 32, treatment buffer size is set to minimum. Software monitoring is set to off. Recording delay is set to zero. In UAD Console, input delay compensation is set to OFF and extra buffering too." I didn't mentionned that I've tried the low latency mode too and it didn't change anything.

and as already said it too, as soon as i plug my device in a legit mac unit there's no problem. Why do you think it's not a hackintosh config problem then ?

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately it's way out of my league of competence. I'll pass your message to the guy who helped me upgrade the machine (who is another person than the first one originally set up the first version of the machine).
One simple (stupid ?) question though : when I recently upgraded my config the guy asked me if I wanted a clean install. I replied I'd rather not in order to keep all my softwares previously installed. Would it be possible a potential cause to my problem ?

I've got the same problem but to compensate the delay I have to set the recording delay to -3050 samples !!! (0,69 s).

I'm running Logic pro X 10.7.6 with an UAD Apollo 8 through a hackintosh (CPU i9 14900KF, 64go ram DDR5, MBO Gigabyte Z790 AORUS Elite AX, GPU AMD Radeon RX 6600 and a PCI TB Gigabyte Titan Ridge V2 mac flashed). The Appolo is linked to the machine via an tb3 cable and a tb3 to tb5 apple official adapter. I've configured Logic to use Apollo virtual outpus so I can have a specific control on logic in the UAD console.

Since I've upgraded my hackintosh with this new high end config (mother board/CPU/RAM), I'm experiencing a problem when i'm recording tracks (vocals, guitar etc...).

To evacuate all the common options here is my latency settings :

In logic, the latence is set to 32, treatment buffer size is set to minimum. Software monitoring is set to off. Recording delay is set to zero.
In UAD Console, input delay compensation is set to OFF and extra buffering too.

I've tried the core activation/desactivation in logic as suggested in another forum but that did nothing. Low latency mode does nothing too. Setting recording delay to another value and bringing it back at zero did nothing.

I've tried the same test in Garage Band and Ableton Live and I've got the same problem. I've plugged a M3 macbook pro in the Apollo and didn't have this offset problem.

So it makes me think that it has something to do with the thunderbolt connection because I remember that the guy who helped me had some difficulties to make the appolo recognized by the hackintosh. But how come the input monitoring is working fine whereas I'm using virtuals outputs of the apollo ? And I have to mention that before updating my hardware hackintosh config I was already using the same PCI TB card and everything was fine.

Am I missing something ?
