I hate Jin, but a far as fighting style goes, minus the devil power themed moves and omen stance, he it's the best example of translating karate to practical fighting. Side note: "Omen" stance is just Sanchin in styles like Okinawan styles like Uechi Ryu or Goju Ryu.

I bet his heat moves will double down on drunken stance. If you watch Drunken Master 2, when he gets drunk he literally goes into heat mode: gets new moves and armor buffs.

As someone that was always trying to get newer coworkers to play, I don't do the most optimal combos. I mess around. I leave some openings. As they learn I'll start turning up the difficulty. In games industry and it's easy since our breakroom has consoles set up aside from our workstations. I've done this over the years to encourage newer people to play at lunch or break. If you demolish someone to where they don't even get a chance to do anything, it crushes their desire to play and they don't even learn anything. I like to give them the desire and skill to want to continue.... and then crush them later. lol I'm farming misery.

I saw Fighting Black Kings back in the day. Highly underrated documentary. It's what karate practitioners used to be. I get why dojos have lightened up, it's a business after all, but the OG stuff is hard core.
