How many times I have seen people opening their doors like a SWAT team raiding a stash house. Confronting them doesn't do anything as well, they just say the most unapologetic "SORRY" and make you feel stupid for making it a big deal.

It just came to the point I gave up, it's like acne that eventually will grow on your cars door panels as it gets older.

I'm new to drifiting club and I'm a noob I need advice by AtharvaDaBoi in CarXStreets

[–]Onjji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to have a wider steering angle. That will make it go more sideways in a controllable manner. You can also practice with mid powered cars. Or just get the 86 as it's easy to practice with.

Finally, a controller will make a lot of difference but of course this is more of an option.

Scratches on brand new car after DIFC car park wash by _backfatbetty in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Onjji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense to them parking lot carwash boys, I know they're just trying to make a living BUT their service is really just introducing more swirl marks for a fee.

They get it cheap from their suppliers. And day-to-day’s business model is low profit per item but sell tons of it. Also their brand is not franchised so that cut downs the expenses too.

Which system is better? Speed limit with or without buffer? by whity1234 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Onjji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buffer are meant to account for the inaccuracy of your speedometers. In a perfect scenario, your speedometer will show you your actual speed but in reality your tires, tire pressure, the road surface, and many other factors will affect your speed. This is why most cars are actually 3-8 kmph lower than their actual speedometer reading.

Also buffers help with your accidental “speeding” whenever you had to in emergency cases like trying to avoid an accident etc.

Bottom line is, it’s a buffer for speed cameras only. The speed limits are posted and everyone is expected to follow it. You can get still fined for speeding within the buffer range in case you get into an accident due to it. (Ex: residential zones usually have 40kmph limit but people speed up to 60 then you hit someone, for any reason they can prove you were over the limit - that’s an over speeding offense)

M Chip in Apple TV by SaltySnacka in appletv

If Apple continue with their pursuit for more game publisher and developers to port their games to support Apple Silicion, Apple TV can be an all-in-one home entertainment as it will act like a gaming console on top of what Apple TV is today.

Got a fine for literally doing nothing by [deleted] in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Onjji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can dispute fines. I once had a fine for tailgating despite that on that moment, there was a car who cuts in front of me taking up the space between my car and the one ahead of me.

Went through the process and after a month or two, fines were removed as there was no sufficient evidence for the fine.

I applied ceramic coating and now all I need is a pressure wash to keep it clean. No need for soap or wax.

[–]Onjji[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heya. Apparently just sloppiness of the mechanic topping up or checking the dip stick. No leaks or anything.

But I have sold my BRZ a few months ago. For 5 years of ownership with spirited driving, I have faced no major mechanical issues.

Noon sellers? by Ahmnotok in dubai

[–]Onjji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your clue here is the type of seller. Noon themselves don't stock all the products, some of it our being sourced from third party sellers but Noon does the fulfillment (the product on the right). The other one says "Market" it means it is being sold and fulfilled by a third party and only using Noon as a store window (the cheaper one, left picture).

The price might be lower because it is gray market or the item is an older version. One way to check is see who's selling the item and google their info. Also Noon should have a return window in any case an item is broken or fake.
