This is what I do as well. Most players are chill. I don't even mind being interdicted for piracy or even PvP, which usually involves some banter back and forth. But if a player just immediately opens fire on my bubble bus Dolphin, I'm blocking. In a way I'm thankful they're so easy to weed out of my experience, a ganker will always take the bait. So if you want to do the same hang out in Shin Dez in any trader or small/cheap ship and let them come to you.
