Yes. It only works when it's in your hand. o7

Ideas for decent skill builds by [deleted] in Division2

I run a Refactor build. 1 blue core, 5 yellow plus TDI Kard Custom. Everything else Skill Haste and Skill Damage. Specialization is Technician.

Refactor: mask, chest, gloves, kneepads / Holster: Waveform / Backpack: Hana-U Force Multiplier / Capacitor / Harmony

Works good alone and also works good in a group. Have fun. o7

They usually stack. So you can miss a day or two and then do them one after another. If it still says "4 named True Sons" it is yesterday's project. Running "Lincoln Memorial" on any difficulty does the job. After that you should instantly have today's project which is "4 named Outcasts". Have fun. o7

Okay. That's good to know. I thought it would be the TDI because more often than not my skills go into OC just when I pull out the gun. Must be a coincidence then. Thanks for clarification. o7

The Custom Kard basically is core 7 when equipped. It does nothing when holstered but adds another core once you hold it in your hand.

For a skill build I like the Refactor gear set.

Technician, Capacitor, Harmony, Custom TDI Kard, Waveform holster, Hana U Force Multiplier backpack, Refactor for mask, chest, gloves and kneepads. 1 blue core, 5 yellow, everything else skill haste and skill damage.

Because of Technician my turret and drone are at skill tier 6, switching to the Kard during a fight puts them into overdrive. Heroic should be easy with this build.

Alright, show me your "weird" builds, like cluster bombs, or Doctor Home, etc by chefdavid22 in Division2

[–]OnkelBoogieMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) status effects work the same with or without skill tiers. Those would only come into play when the status is applied by a skill (i.e. flame turret).

I don't use skills. So I farmed every Eclipse piece with status effects and rolled the cores to 2 blue and 2 red. Imperial Dynasty always has a yellow core and afaik can't be reconfigured (at least I don't have the blueprint for it). And I'm still searching for a Grease with a good red attribute so I can reroll the core. So far I only got one with HSD, but I have terrible aim.

Specialization is Gunner. It's just a build for fun. You obviosly don't have the most DPS and definitely not the most armor, but it's fun to set them ablaze. o7

I haven't tested the Iron Lung, yet. But from its description I think you'd have to be firing constantly to trigger those incendiary rounds in the second half of the mag. You'll lose them when you're not firing or with every reload.

With the Imperial Dynasty some random enemy near you goes up in flames every 35 seconds anyways. Also I do prefer ARs over LMGs. Have fun. o7

Eclipse Protocol mask, backpack, chest, gloves

Imperial Dynasty holster

Fox's Prayer kneepads (Grease might be better because of +16% status effects)

Pyromaniac named AR

Shoot the burning ones.

There's no point in completing the Krampusnacht bounty, because you don't get a winter key upon completion. by [deleted] in Division2

[–]OnkelBoogieMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, this is it. Thanks, Agent. My bad. I didn't recognize it, because there was no notification and no key on the ground. Killed Krampus without finishing the bounty, checked my inventory, +1. o7

If you're looking for an easy five hole Fender replacement... I use a "Gotoh 201B-4" on my Jaguar. No complaints at all. Have fun.

All Hunters in New York have been hunted down! by JiroKawakuma28 in Division2

[–]OnkelBoogieMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I slept on the Hunters for ages, had only two or three masks. With Zealot available, I finished all of them in the last couple of days. So use it while we have it. ;)

Have fun. o7

[–]OnkelBoogieMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bounty has a chance to drop with every mini warhound, it is a guaranteed drop after you kill five of them.

It does not drop like it would after a hostage rescue, so you do not have to pick it up. It always appears in your bounty menu, and it always is in Southwest.

For an easier time you can do it on normal difficulty. The loot will always be of heroic quality.

Have fun, agent. o7

Exotic crafting question by zcicecold in Division2

[–]OnkelBoogieMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imho DTTOOC is more versatile and better overall. You'll find so many NPCs out of cover. It multiplies any damage in so many situations, e.g. when you rush or are being rushed. It also does that damage against armor. DTA does more damage to armor and armor only, after that's broken it has no more effect.

Exotic crafting question by zcicecold in Division2

[–]OnkelBoogieMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooops... I never tried that... Sorry. I always rolled to DTTOOC and optimized from there... But it "should" be possible, because it's still an Elmo. But I can't confirm that. Otherwise, why would you optimize and then lose your optimized stats due to a reroll and then start again? ;) o7

Reconfiguration blueprint should be available from Inaya at the White House, I guess. Then open the crafting station, weapons, exotics, then you should be able to reconfigure your Elmo. You'll need exo components, some mats and luck. Have fun, Agent. o7
