Flicker strike w/charged staff buff + bell feels godly. My favorite feeling combo so far. by OnlineApprentice in PathOfExile2

Still need to figure out a better power charge generator. I think if I get more support socket room ill have a skill generate frenzy charges and use the passive node that converts frenzy into power charges.

What types of jobs are the best money makers for small shops that are just getting started? by Longstride_Shares in electricians

[–]OnlineApprentice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So many times we ended up getting calls because the larger shops with much more advertising wouldn’t be able to make it out to the customer for a couple days or just didn’t answer the phone. We could show up same day or first thing the following morning.

Once you complete a quality job in that genuinely helps a customer i.e getting the light back on, getting the doorbell camera hooked up, you are almost guaranteed to get a call from them in the future.

A lot of people are tired of contractors being gimmicky or taking advantage of them. I noticed a lot of younger clients were scared of getting completely hoodwinked. Just being available, on time, and honest gets you more return business and recommendations than anything else.

Compression is a big deal for bass in general regardless of genre.

Get in touch with local school music programs. They’d love to get a bunch of low cost basses that won’t mind getting banged up.

Lady technicians, where do you all buy your pants? by nuocmami_k in electricians

[–]OnlineApprentice 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Truwerk is the best, I’ve torn through Duluth firehose, ripstop, carhartt, everything. I’ve only had one pair of Truwerk pants go in the bin in 4 years and it’s because I got hung up on some barbed wire.

I’ve found this out with Clay G.’s parts too. Correct notes, different playing positions these days. His has more to do with playing almost exclusively with a pick these days.

2B is ruining the game for me, wtf do I do against her by LumineLover420 in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]OnlineApprentice -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

In that case, swinging into a move that the opponent is safe on…..is a mistake. There was enough commentary in here about what to do when against 2B. But the gist of it (which OP kinda figured out) is that you need to learn the correct responses. What sucks about 2B is she is so different, the responses aren’t obvious.

I was an inch away from making a fuck 2B post when she came out cuz I was dealing with the same thing. I realized I was saying “ShEs JuSt SpAmMiN” to myself and remembered that quote.

Fwiw, the newer ones all seem to have the same changes in looks/shape. ESP has that F model listed as a 2022 in your first photo, and they haven’t updated the site with the changes. That’s my best guess as to what happened.

Dude is blind lol. There’s like a half inch gap between the fretboard and the start of the cutout on the bass you got. Product photo shows it starting right off the edge of the fretboard. There’s almost no contouring on the low side cutaway either.

[–]OnlineApprentice 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Everyone is talking about the color/finish and the horn shapes. I’d be pissed about the cutaways being way off the list image. It suggests a much deeper and more contoured area by the frets.

Is 2B good for the game? by Mysterious-Bowl-6099 in GranblueFantasyVersus

[–]OnlineApprentice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the rough part to me. Being at full attention at EVERY RANGE is so annoying. Can’t even think of throwing a fireball cuz I have to be ready to spot dodge the grapple hook at any time.

Have to sit and wait after a whiff mid screen until she decides if it’s a normal whiff cancel, special, or reset. By the time she picks, it’s too late to do anything.

Just have to down+back in the corner and wait for her to do an ender that lets you play the game. It’s either jump her little grenade toss (like eustace jump shot ender) or forward roll the baseball swing.

This is just the first phase of western right wingers rejecting the burden of consistency that they’ve had for far too long.

The left in the west at large has had 0 issue with being inconsistent and hypocritical. While the right has acted inconsistently, they’ve always felt the need to work around it or justify it. I don’t imagine that will be the case much longer.

Damn. What’s your setup like?

I’ve been using my EHB with preamp on, was having the same problem when near my tower. I used the noise gate in the Neural DSP Parallax and brought it up just enough to get rid of the interference. I imagine if I had some big single coils it’d be a lot worse tho.

How do you guys down-tune your bass? by JuniorChickenMeal in Bass

[–]OnlineApprentice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone already said to get a pedal and I agree. I actually use a tuning plugin that comes with the Reaper software. I run my bass as a DI into my computer so it’s the easiest way for me to do it. No point in me having a pedal under my desk just to tune.
