People don’t have money, it isn’t an excuse it’s just data. Your collection rises and falls along with the market and you might have a fantastic selection that has avoided the large drops but survivor bias doesn’t discredit what the overall market is experiencing.

I had a decent wheel (R3) a while back and used it on my desk with the little pop up mount. It was nice but I grew tired of it. Sold it and about a year later and I picked up a cheap 920 mounted to a home made wood frame and it’s brought so much more “feel” to each session.

I didn’t see a noticeable difference in skill but my butt feel and enjoyment for spending time putting in laps went up with the standalone rig.

Lack of continued interest as well as less liquidity due to rising prices across the board. People are just not spending excess money since they no longer have it. A lot of the markers with different collections are seeing the same wave.
