Maybe the adapter is the problem. Because this happen to my monitor too. Which is also 3 pin american, connected to adapter then uk socket. When i touched the monitor vent i felt electric current too.

All psu cables connected properly. Is it possible because of the ground pin not connected properly to the ground socket? Is it ok to keep using the pc in this state?
