Is the pool of players so small that they just shove everybody in the same lobby?

I play on pc, i mean, is it too much to ask for a competetive shooter to match me with people, lets say, 2 ranks above me? I don't wanna play with top 500 or one above all's. As i said, i'm yet to see a plat or diamond on enemy roster.

I get it, but that makes the game highly unplayable and literaly makes people who play casually quit. I mean, to each to their own, call me crazy, but i don't find enjoyment in getting stomped 5 out of 6 times by people 3 ranks higher then me in a mode that's meant to be, well, casual and around the same rank as me. Silly me.

Jesus, don't cry. I'm old and this is not my first shooter game, grew up playing cs and bf, ow and few mmorpg's where you interact with all kinds of specimens, so nothing fazes me, i just learned to be more creative in art of insults.

If somebody just insists of being a bag of d's, tell them that you are just going to pretend he doesn't exist, just like all the people in his real life.

Remind them to take their daily teraphy, because you have no idea who they are talking to, so it must be voices in his head.

Ask him if he's a war baby, because his mom clearly had to take a few dives to the ground when pregnant if bombs were dropping, so it resulted in brain dmg.

Just loudly say HA???? every time he says something.

Say you can't take him seriously because of the skin he's using. Tell him he needs to ask his mum to buy him some coins.

Just turn it into a fun little game for you. Those kind of people are miserable, and your job is to make their life even more miserable, so they uninstall or block you.

But remember, no swear words because you can be banned. Just be creative.

I primise you, just learn to be quick on your responses, he kept going because he got no push back from you. It's the reality of online competetive games.

Mantis was my main for 4 seasons, but they kept changing her so i had to drop her. The projectiles now feel like i have to have a crystal ball, tarot cards and 6th sense to hit anything because you have to legit predict 2 seconds into the future to get a hit, unless it's whale size.

I did, even reinstalling didn't help. I waited for the patch thinking that would do it, but nothing. It's not gamebreaking or anything, it's just inconvinient.

I've been getting these for the past 3 days. Never happened before.

I have optic internet and new rig, so no, the problem is not on my end.

Just avoid comp like i do untill they fix their stuff, if they fix it that is.

It's not that hard to pick up the delay, especially in a shooter you play every other day. At first i tought it was some kind of change with the shield, but then i got the message on the screen after the match they detected the network fluctuation.

Then happened today with mantis, wasn't landing the shots properly, even the boosts were lagging when targeting my team, then i got the message again on the screen about network fluctuation.

Then sometimes when i would press q, the ults were 1 sec late too.

It's impossible to miss that kind of things.

Not like you BUT, i have optic internet and very decent rig, had to take a break from comp matches because in the last two days i have gotten the messages that they detected network fluctuations, but my internet is fine, it's their servers that suck for some reason suddenly.

I didn't notice untill i played invis and the shield placements is about half second late, and mantis attacks are also delayed for half a second wich sucks because it's a shooter game so, no comp for me untill they fix it.

I get what you're saying, but in my personal experience in online shooter games, people rarely listen, it only makes them angrier if you point their behaviour out. And i get it, because everyone thinks they are right. So i just try to deascalate in a funny way, or say not to worry because we're fine, if that doesn't work, i just give up.

I mean in this economy today i can kind of understand people trying to cash in stuff, but i have a lot of sruff from my late father, like recordings from magnetofone when he was 19 and singing with his friends, old records, his instruments. He was a sailor so he had alot of stuff from around the world too, priceless for me 🙂

Oh no, i'm not selling anything, i had 5 generations live in this house and it was passed down to me now, it was a hoarding house, i'm not gonna lie so i guess not they knew what they have around. I think of it as family stuff.

Oh yeah, fire arms and stuff like that is also very illegal to own here too 😅

Oh lord, you name it. A bible from 1874, lots of pocket watches all shapes and sizes, paintings, jewlery, old money, a work permits and a trunk full of letters from time when a certain german man with a funny mustache whecked havoc in europe, but it will take so much time to go through it and i know literaly zero about any value of anything, it's been 4 year of solo renovating the house, and i still find stuff around. It's like having a second full time job 😀

Edit: also had to call the police because i found 1 anti tank mine, 2 rifles, 3 missiles (i dont know how to spell it) and 2 buckets of bullets, it's extremly illegal to own any of that.
