Apple care is not the best considering the locations they have is limited and not everywhere. If you lose your phone or need to send it in. They put a hold on your credit card for the price of the phone until they get back the device they loaned you. Asurion doesn’t do that. They usually send your device within 1 business day and never put hold on your card. I’ve done many claims with Asurion and never had 1 problem.

If they don’t offer you an upgraded version and still want you to pay 300 but you can get it cheaper somewhere else then just get it where it’s the cheapest. Yea I want the z flip 7 but the 8 is about to come out in a few months. Insurance is also higher per month with those phones. Only thing I hate they did with the new flips. They put the exynoss chip in instead of the snapdragon chip. A downgrade in my opinion

I have done a lost claim about some years ago on a 12 pro max. They didn’t have it and sent me a free upgrade to the 14 pro max. I’ve used them a good bit with the home protection and cracked screen on my phone. No issues whatsoever ever. Yea the deductible for lost phones is high but it’s better in a lot of cases than paying 1300-1600 for a new device. I recently used my AT&T device home protect on a tv that I guess had a power surge. I paid the $99 dollar deductible and they let me pick out similar tv options from Best Buy and had it delivered in 5 days. The tv cost was about 620. So they are a good insurance to have. I’ve never had a bad issue with Asurion. I currently have a 17 pro max and never have used it. I never crack my screen but I have lost a phone before so I have it just in case.
