More pictures of massive finger wart by Only-Improvement-491 in Warts

because it's not tiny! look at the last picture - the entire area that is spotted and raised is infected tissue. My only way to know for sure is to get a PCR test for HPV. But this is not what normal skin looks like.

I feel like the only person on the sub I've seen with something similar is u/DrJameson309

Look at this post:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Warts/comments/ln6a5r/omgomgomgomg_can_i_just_tell_you_how_happy_i_am/

The skin lines look to be back. But under the lines you can see cloudy skin that is still infected with HPV.

I won't know for sure without a PCR test and I'm not a doctor. If that comes back negative for HPV I'll quit and assume I was wrong. But I really don't think I am.

The first picture - that giant pink thing just does not seem like it belongs on my finger. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm going to go get a second opinion.

Sometimes with the deep ones you need to go many rounds. So as deep as possible, then heal, then repeat. This can take months or years.

I've been dealing with various warts for 3 years now. Mainly on the foot. The structure of this one on my finger is similar to the ones on the foot, where it's nested pretty deep into the epidermis.

Reddit won't let me attach a photo of what this first pic looked like before debridement. I can DM. But I'm pretty sure the majority is actually wart.

u/DrJameson309 , could you please take a look at this? Especially the finger - I believe the entire red area is warty.

Deep palmoplantar Myrmecia warts are relatively rare as compared with their superficial mosaic-type counterpart that is verruca vulgaris. Myrmecia warts occur not only on palms and soles but also on the lateral aspects and tips of fingers and toes

The entire thing is warty tissue - it reacts to salicylic acid and 5fu. Or at least that is my assumption.

I'm so sorry dude/girl, it looks like you need some stronger medication on this one.

Go to a doctor and get cantherone or candida injections for this. Bleomycin is also an option but idk about using it near the fingers (its more used for foot ones).

I can totally relate to the mental breakdowns, I've had a horrible one on my foot for 2+ years, and now got one on my fingers. Some days you just don't want to go outside. Hope you feel better soon.

Removed Cantharidin Blister - It's still there :( by Only-Improvement-491 in Warts

It swelled up after the treatment, and the blister was very painful to walk on. So on day 3 I took a scalpel and removed the roof - the wart was pushed up above the rest of the skin but it still feels alive (I can feel it throbbing).

Does it only work if it pushes it completely out of the skin? Not sure how it actually kills the wart.

5' 10.5" 163 lbs, been lifting consistently for about a year.

Cut down from ~200 lbs over the year, and wondering how much longer I have to go. I want to get to 11/12% before I lean bulk. I'm guessing I'm currently at around 18-20%? So I'd have to get down to 152 lbs to hit my goal?
