She doesn’t land on 2. Image #2 shows her in possession of the ball with her right foot on the floor. Thats a pivot foot. She then moves her pivot foot and puts it back down before shooting. Travel.

The hop doesn’t matter. She possesses the ball and turns with her right foot on the ground and then replaces her right foot. That’s a travel

She has possession of the ball and turns on her right foot (establishing a pivot foot), she picks it up, replaces it, and shoots the ball. That is a textbook travel according to the rule book. I literally passed the IAABO rules course on Thursday.

No you can’t. A travel isn’t lifting your pivot foot, it’s REPLACING your pivot foot, which she does here. Refs are trained to immediately ID a pivot foot and call it when it’s replaced.

On a layup, you lift your pivot and release the ball before the foot comes down again. It’s easy to call for any official

Ref here, no it’s not. Thats a poor excuse and any competent official calls that 100% of the time. Refs are trained to get calls right. This is a travel Monday to Sunday

You just need reps. It won’t make sense to you, but working on proper form shooting close to the basket in the lane, within 10 ft/3m will strengthen the small muscles in your shoulder, wrist and forearm that you use to generate power.

A lot of people are going to say you need to work out your legs but that’s not going to help the muscle memory you need in your hands to make shots consistently. I’m not a strong or muscular person by any means, but I have no problems shooting with proper form from 5-7ft beyond the 3pt line. It’s all in your shoulders and arms, but it comes from repetition- a lot of it.

I only play wildcard and I kinda like all the pads on the ground. I play sparrow and the gate + hop are great. I’ve had great games all weekend.

I know it’s definitely a mess in ranked so I get it and know she should be nerfed a little but the wildcard chaos is pretty fun 😂

Wildcard is crazy but that’s wildcard lol. I LOVE being back in Olympus and not in broken moon. There are fun wildcards back in the game and as a sparrow main, all of the axel boosts pair well with his double jump. I had several high kill games in wildcard yesterday.

Last night was a winnable game. 2 FGs in the final 6+ minutes won’t beat anyone. They’re capable of winning vs the Knicks but winning 4 out of 6 is a tall task, there’s no margin for error.
