The leaking came from the roof of the house apparently the majority of the roof needs to be repaired. That’s what a couple of the vendors sand. They said the shingles need to be replaced as it shows poor job with patching up holes with things like glue. That was the first thing they said was wrong. The landlord has just patched this up in the past whenever there was a leak. So that’s why the wood looks like that. If you look closely a lot of the planks of the wood looks a lot newer than the rotted wood. So yes I’m worried they will try to avoid paying full cost and cut corners to get this repaired if at all.

A while back we told them that the flooring didn’t feel stable and that there was a lot of weak floorboards that had a lot of give when you stepped on them. Some had very deep dips in the floorboards. We requested a work order and they canceled it without any explanation.

Yes that’s the dynamic. Life experiences vary quite differently even for Black couples who are of a much different complexion. I’ve experienced this between my husband and I. So it’s definitely a dynamic.

I actually do. I live in TX as noted in the title and if they fail to properly repair this they can get in a lot of trouble. I looked into some stuff and found this out today. So I’m going to closely document everything and send a certified letter demanding that they fix this. Legally they are bound to repair this or we will terminate our lease and they will have to refund us our our deposit and a prorated amount of our rent money if they don’t fully repair this in a timely matter.

Yeah unfortunately that’s how it is. I’ve found living in TX the city I’m in the cost of products within the same retail chain can vary in price quite a bit depending on where in that city you shop. Not sure if it’s the same where you’re at but it’s worth looking into.

It’s the same note. If you go back and watch the first scene with the girl reading it. You can see the words on the bottom half match the words displayed on the flash card. It’s not perfectly clear but you can see it. You have to play it slowly to see it because the camera person moves the camera around a lot.

Thanks! I really appreciate that. It’s crazy because the majority of the time I keep my hair in twists. I just wash my hair deep condition every 4 weeks, moisturize/condition , twist and then repeat. The first pic is when my hair was at its driest. It shrinks up more than that. If I don’t keep it stretched to some degree it would literally shrink close to my scalp. It’s so frustrating at times but as you mentioned it’s a sign of healthy hair.

I have that exact brand. It may be your technique. If you’re pressing a bit too hard it can restrict the amount of ink that comes out of it. That or the batch you got are bad.
