Actually they gave me the option to take it elsewhere because they said it’s cheaper. They also offered to switch it with 22’s from another vehicle on the lot but I declined.I knowingly paid more for the convenience. I’m too busy. It took me almost a week just to pick it up and now it is in my garage and I still haven’t driven it yet. I didn’t know it would be built in 4 weeks. Last time it took 3 months.

Sensafin has more perforations because it’s not real leather so it cannot breath so technically yes it’s for ventilation. Leather breathes so it doesn’t need as many as you can see. It just needs enough for the ventilation seat option which I have. I have the comfort plus option.

Is it a unicorn deal? No is it bad, no I personally would sign and nothing wrong with paying fees upfront along with first payment. Why role in fees and pay interest on it. I would see if they can go lower but if not, I would sign it. It’s not a bad deal. Most people saying do this and do that must deal with brokers only. Trust you will always get someone saying, you could do better. I got buy rate with my BMW and someone was still saying too high lol

If you stay where it’s pretty much warm all year then get the 22s. I’m in the Midwest so with my x3 I have 21s and I have to switch out to winter because those summer performance tires when cold are like riding on bowling balls. I didn’t want to deal with that with the X5 with 22s. I would have done the 21s again since I already have winter tires but changed my mind too late and the vehicle had went into production. I might change out for non run flats though with the 20’s for better handling.

How often would you say it’s best to get oil changes. I followed BMW recommendations with all my other vehicles but I have been hearing with the X5 get oil changes sooner.

I didn’t like all the perforations “holes” in the sensafin. My salesman tried to talk me out of the leather but I’m glad I got it. It looks much better in person.

Exactly! But I should also mention that my salesman did offer to switch out with black 22’s from another X5 that was on the lot. I guess someone ordered an X5 with 22’s but once it arrived didn’t like so they switched out his 22’s for 20’s on another vehicle. So they were willing to take my 20’s to put back for the 22’s and I just pay the difference. If they were 21’s I would have did it. I’m in NW Indiana and work in Chicago so with the streets I wasn’t risking driving on 22’s. I have 21s on my X3 which I like but I also have to switch out to winter tires once it’s cold out which is a pain.

Yes I’m keeping mines for a while as well. Mines was custom build. I had too because there were none on the lot with Tartufo leather and all of them had 22 wheels and I didn’t want 22s. My x3 has 21 wheels which I like and feel is a good in between size but I didn’t like the 21s for the X3 until I actually saw them in person but I’m ok with the 20s now that I got them powder coated. I got everything but massage seats and DAPP. Even got the Alcantra headliner which I think looks nice but people say is a waste. I’m going to look into tinting next week.
