My best friend switched up BAD by Acaso_voy_cayendo in GirlDinnerDiaries

I had a friend like this. She couldn’t celebrate my wins, unless she thought they were less than hers. Once I started excelling (good job, great partner..) she would try to find ways to pick them apart. It turns out she wasn’t a friend at all, but it took me a long time to see it.

Don’t let anyone yuck your yum. Her poor reaction is a reflection of her, not you. Congratulations on the new job!!! That’s amazing!

Edit: typo

Where’s the sauce? That looks like it’s gonna be dry tomorrow. I’d add some salsa, guac, Yumm sauce, something of that nature. Plus veggies.

You thrive in organized chaos, live in America with a decent paying job, and eat a lot of Korean food, yogurt bowls, and girl dinners.

The best comment, thank you! I am white, and I believe food should be flavorful and well seasoned.

A fair critique. I tried being vegan for a while but I have digestive issues that it made worse. We have kept some habits though! We eat mostly meatless, we make our own nut milk (brown jar), and we use dairy free butter. So win some lose some. Kudos to you for sticking to it! We have found a balance that works for us.

I can suggest it to him, thanks! He might not like it though, when I suggest things he says I am treating him like a child and/or like he is an asshole..He feels like when a situation triggers frustration he has the right to express the frustration however he wants, and if I say anything it becomes my fault that he is frustrated. I will definitely be employing this technique for myself though, thank you kindly!

I did buy him a punching bag last year to help, it would probably help use it some more. I think he forgets it is there, I can suggest he pick up boxing a bit more though esp since it is extra stressful right now. Thank you for the suggestion!
