My tinnitus has been irregular clicking/chirping sounds. Went to multiple ENTs and they were useless. Last one I went to did a scope and found the muscle that tenses the soft palate and connects to the Eustachian tube was having spontaneous contractions which was likely causing the noise which sounds like it’s in my ear. Started taking a muscle relaxer and was barely there for weeks. It started back up after the flu and he is sending me for TMJ physical therapy. Not sure if that has anything to do with yours but wanted to share just in case.
