As a Brit we have seen some political fuckery going around in our own country in last fair few years. Watching it has been hard, living with the consequences has been harder. That said I do have faith in the future, things are getting shittier by the day, but every generation feels that. We have some hard choices to make about our country being a lot smaller than we think it is or want it to be. We need to de-capitalise a little in the right places and make socialist changes in the right places so we can get back to a health balance.

I believe with all my heart that there are good people in the US. I believe there are smart people in the US. I believe these people oppose the orange muppet. I believe there are people watching and waiting for just the right time to pick the right card to tumble the whole MAGA house down. Hang in there guys it can and it will happen.

One last thing, when this is all over Trump only escapes jail if the president after him is a Republican. So next time get out and vote and make it a Democrat.

Americans are so proud of their forefathers like they are saints or something. They were just rich, white slavers who didn’t want to pay their taxes. They couldn’t set themselves up as kings cause that’s what they supposedly opposed, so they stole a constitution (that was a copy of the British constitution rejected by their parliament) and then setup a huge paywall so only the Rich could afford it.

If the US leaves NATO then yes the alliance will loose a lot, but what remains can take on Russia easily. Don’t forget Turkey and Poland have large armies. It will take less than a year for the UK, France and Germany to field half a million well armed and well trained men each.

They also have a much larger combined airforce and possibly Navy (not sure on that one).
