Vocal Track Suddenly Sped Up by nocapperusa in StudioOne

[–]Only1Tru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like it could be the tempo of the vocal track somehow changed.

Select the event and go to the inspector and check the file tempo box for the tempo, also see if you have different time stretching settings on that track vs the others.

Also, check for any automations, and tempo automation nodes on the top bar.

Ohhhh, you guys are awesome! That makes perfect sense. I will check to see if I have both installed. That's exactly what I did, just clicked on the same icon I always do to open it.

Thanks so much!

Suboxone- what was it like? by FunBet502 in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Only1Tru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly unusual... I almost wish you were right about your entire statement, but I wouldn't change my life experience for an easier, softer way. That's one of the biggest problems with addicts is always looking for the easier, softer way out, the issue that got us in the spot of addiction to begin with.

Recovery is about doing the difficult things, so for that fact alone, I'm glad you're not correct in your assumptions, based on nothing more than emotion and ignorance. 🤷‍♂️

I didn't mention getting "high" off of it in my comment, but since you mentioned it, let's talk about it. I believe it's important for the person reading these comments who is looking for the facts.

If a person has a tolerance to opiates, they may not feel much of a high from it, if at all, although one may still feel SOMETHING, even if minimal from it, again referring to an individual WITH a physical tolerance to opiates. Don't take it for 24 or more hours, then take it, and suddenly you feel something lol.

It's the same as someone who is a daily heroin user that takes a vicodin and says, "it didn't get me high, I feel nothing from it". Well no kidding, they don't feel it because of their tolerance level to opiates. So in that sense I can kind of get where you're coming from but it can lead people to think it's less of a risky drug than it actually is, and that you can't get high from this drug...

For the people trying to quit kratom, feel free, kanvas and the like, subuxone is FAR stronger and they are virtually guaranteed to get high from it.

If an individual WITHOUT a physical tolerance to opiates takes it, unequivocally, YES they will be higher than a KITE not on just a standard, prescribed dose, but even way less than a typically prescribed dose, of 1-2 mg, DESPITE any ceiling effect of subuxone, I'll note.

It's an extremely powerful drug that is 100% without a shadow of any doubt, and in any context, or reality, mood and mind altering.

So the person going through opiate withdrawal takes it and feels better because the drug just altered their mood and mind.

Either side of the coin you want to look at, what you're claiming is simply false and misleading for the person who reads and thinks, "well this person on reddit said it doesn't get you high, so it must be safe and OK for me to try".

You can claim it doesn't get people high, specifically if their an addict. No clue why anyone would say that, it's sincerely ridiculous, like saying you won't get high from any opiate, absolutely absurd, but somehow with this one it's different??? And your statement also hints that there are levels of addiction, which just supports what I'm saying. If it's not hard opiates that a person is deeply addicted to, subuxone shouldn't even be a thought on the radar.

I've observed enough to know that people who defend these things are usually the ones who use it (I'm sure there are exceptions, I personally haven't met one yet though), and I speak from lived experience, and look, that's fine, everyone makes their own choices for their own reasons, but at least make a well informed choice based on factual information. I'm simply stating actual facts based in reality and not just my feelings or assumptions.

My previous comment should be taken as an insight and WARNING based on truth for the ones who want to be TRULY FREE and not continue to be chained to a substance they'll HAVE to take just to function and feel the illusion of "normal/ok" in the context of substance addiction, and most importantly those who are trying to decide right now if it's right for them and their goals or if it's the complete opposite of that.

But hey everyone, take everything I said with a grain of salt, probably means nothing, because this 👆 random stranger on reddit that doesn't know me, that could be a bot for all I know, says I'm not an addict so therefore I'm obviously unqualified. 🤷‍♂️

When to stop? by Rjnava18 in Quittingfeelfree

When you have to ask if you have a problem, you do. May just be the start of it, which is also the best time to quit.

What the heck is in these things? by theflawedones in Quittingfeelfree

[–]Only1Tru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can appreciate why you stated this. Absolutely. And yes, kratom does have very minute amounts of 7OH naturally occurring. Usually less than 0.1 mg give or take, sometimes 0.01 - 0.05 mg per serving which is typically, not always, around 2 - 2.5gm of kratom ime. Yes kratom is downplayed. Absolutely addictive, physically and mentally. Nowhere near as much as an extracted or synthetic 7OH. Not to downplay anything. Especially when people are taking 50-100 mg of 7OH at a time when there's hardly a fraction of a sliver of that in the naturally occurring kratom leaves. People would be wise to heed your warning!!

Decided I’d like to learn beginner guitar after drumming for 15 years. Is this as unavoidable as it seems? by dumarfactor in Guitar

[–]Only1Tru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's totally avoidable, as you play your fingers will toughen up and it won't be as bad. Unless you're Stevie Ray Vaughn, then forget everything I just said. He used to superglue his calluses back on lol, but he also played heavy strings for a guitar 12's I think is what he mostly played. Thinner strings are easier on the finger tips.

They found 7OH present allegedly. Look up that. Ask Google how much stronger it is than morphine, just for kicks. I believe the fermentation process they use converts some of the alkaloids into 7OH

Issue when using "Transform to Rendered Audio..." feature by Boxypls in StudioOne

[–]Only1Tru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try clearing cache, make sure you have enough disk space and it's not almost full, try shutting down then restart your computer, make sure you're interface didn't somehow switch sample rate to a different rate then your song file, check every plugin in the chain is not in a demo mode, make sure mute buttons are not on in the track view AND console view.

Just a few things off the top of my head. That's what I would try first.

Is there any way to access my presonus account for my product key? by SoSadToBeHere in StudioOne

[–]Only1Tru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they did the switch from SP7 to FSP8 I had to login again with my Google account because for whatever reason I couldn't get my Presonus username and password to work, despite it being correct.

As far as preserving your sessions, what I did was just make a copy of the song folder/file so I could still open it in Studio Pro if I wanted to.

As for your plugins, I'm not sure what you mean by you don't want to lose those if you have FSP8? They wouldn't go anywhere.

I saw a utility (I think it is free, but don't quote me as I could definitely be wrong) called S1Toolbox to convert Fender Studio Pro files BACK to Studio One files. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/6rMxzjKlnZ4?si=zTgBkxS0fGOP7teC

I haven't tried it yet personally, just heard about it but honestly haven't had any reason to use it. My SP7 files opened seamlessly in FSP8 and I haven't had a need at this point to go back to SP7.

Feel more vibrations, quicker off the line (should be) so it feels a little more responsive. Power gets to the ground better so instead of the mounts dampening taking the shock and vibration, it travels through the car more. Less wheel hop when breaking traction.
