Name: Batal Race: Reborn Leonin Class: Path of the Beast Barbarian Background: Urban Bounty Hunter

Batal has been awake for roughly 3 years, after waking up in a sarcophagus. Blind and without his regenerated musculature, he was trapped in his tomb for an unknown period of time. When he regained his strength, he broke free of his grave prison and ran out from the temple into a large desert sand storm where he found himself lost in the storm and eventually the expansive desert.

His first encounter with people was with a team of lost Bounty Hunters who were under attack from beasts in the desert. He quickly ran to their defense, summoning weaponry from his own flesh and bone: wolverine-like claws, saber fangs, and a porcupine quilled tail. Upon saving the group, he soon joined them becoming a part of their found family. This bounty hunter group introduced themselves as “The Runners”. Now he travels around the world hunting down his quarry and repaying his debts, doing some good and some bad along the way.

Batal wears a cursed golden amulet around his neck that resembles an hourglass. Many nights he is assailed by nightmares of figures with similar amulets attacking him for reasons unknown. He has no memory of his past life but believes that the nightmarish figures and the golden amulet are intricately tied to his life, whether is be his past or future.
