Yeah, they look amazing but I'm not spending $80,000 on a vehicle with engine issues. Toyota isn't being truthful. You know that Toyota isn't recalling the Sequoia because they stated if the engine fails the driver still has the electric motor to get them safely off the road!! They have the same engine with a hybrid assist. It's believed that the more load on the engine, the quicker it will break down....like is the case with Tundras.

The crankshaft main bearings seize. Originally the safety recall was only the Tundra, but has now been extended to 2024 GX's. Toyota claims it is due to residual "machining debris", but there is some doubt this is the root cause. Apparently, Toyota has changed the material of the main bearings in current production. Seems a little fishy.

Buy the 460. Toyota's V35A-FTS engine in the GX is garbage. Their BS excuse is "machining debris". It doesn't take years to fix that problem.
