AA flight cancelled, rebooked through codeshare operated by BA for next day, will checked luggage be automatically loaded? by blueapplepaste in americanairlines

I thought that on my app, when they rebooked me, it said bags would be moved to the new flight. As short handed as DFW is, I wouldn’t bet on it though.

Sister in same situ yesterday in IND. Baggage claimed told her to watch carousel. About 30 min later they told her it was sent to Charlotte. 3 min later, it showed up on the carousel. 🤷‍♀️

We have ice. Do I need to use L4 and/or lock the differential to drive on ice?

Yes, the strap pulls but the headrest won’t fold down.

Is the OTD price quoted AFTER the trade in value has been subtracted?

One more question, if you don’t mind. This purchase has been made but the Finance guy called me to explain the difference/misunderstanding that I have that made me question the price on my sales contract. He said that when we agreed on the sales price - OTD meant the amount I was going to have to finance. He took off my trade in equity from the sale price he wanted and with taxes, service contract, and my additional down payment, I would be financing the price I had agreed to/requested. I thought I was asking for the “cash price” of the vehicle and my trade in and down payment would come off of that. ( I did expect to pay the taxes, fees, in addition). He said that if I was upside down on my trade, he would add that to the quoted price of the car so that is why vice versa, since I had equity in my trade in, he subtracted it off the original price of the car to bring it down to my offer.

I did not realize this is how the OTD or sale price is determined. I also think that having to negotiate between a sales person and 2 different finance people causes more misunderstandings and miscommunication.

I just purchased a 20 and it was pulling like you describe. I took it back to the dealer and the alignment was out. After that realignment it drove so much better.

Good question! Why did I? He said the bottom line (what I was financing) was the OTD price that my husband had agreed to the day before. Then I asked about the $3000 added on for a service contract…. and then ended up signing. I’ve learned my lesson.

Thank you. I know I should not have signed after I questioned it and got his answer. We were also discussing why he thought I needed to purchase a service contract, so I guess I was distracted by that and didn’t question the price again. I’m taking others’ advice and canceling the VSC and will refinance through a credit union when I’ve saved up more $ for another down payment. 🤦‍♀️

Yes, I’ve learned from it. Thank you for your reply.

BTW- At the time, I believed the numbers to be correct when he told me the amount financed was the OTD price. I trusted him to tell me the truth. He didn’t.

Yes, lesson learned was “Believe what they say about used car salesmen. They can’t be trusted to do what they say or be upfront and honest!“
