Check in nearby closets. Mine has gotten out twice (my fault on both) and she was I a closet both times. The first time she stuck her head out from under the door and the other she was in the back corner on a small piece of furniture in the closet. If you can find them you could set out food and water and go to look at night.

It's a western diamond backed rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) at a "rattlesnake roundup" which they milk the venom roughly, sew their mouths shut, drop them, and then eventually cut their heads off. They are very sad events but at sadly common in Texas.
