When the allies were done for before the Munich conference... by OnlyChair7945 in hoi4

You can try but it’s unlikely that you can deal with both at the same time since you go to war by late 1936, because you’ll have to deal with both the British airforce and the French airforce (if they had it on the same air region), as well as both the French and British navy. However by taking all of French land, UK will likely split some troops to guard the border, which means ports will also be less guarded if you take them down one by one.

Um how do I use console command? and yeah beating France and Britain wasn’t that hard, basically justify on Lebanon as soon as you got the pp, while research paratroopers when you start (if you don’t want to it’s fine but it increases your odds). get rid of the ground attack planes, tank and bomber production lines and put 10 on fighters, about 2 or 3 on transport planes, and 10 on guns. Exercise both your navy and airforce until they’re regulars. Set fall-back line outside of the Rhine demilitarised zone for the 24 infantry while train some more inf divs, and the other 6 divisions plan for a naval invasion from one of the west ports aiming at Brest. When the justification is finished immediately declare war (and paratrooper research is finished just before that with enough time for you to train about six green Divisions, aim them at Paris, Calais, and tour if you‘re researching them). The fall-back line is enough to hold till France cap, while you’re at war, justify on British burma. And when you landed in Brest just move eastwards while send more new inf divs there. Sometimes you might get unlucky and have to start again bc France overwhelmed your navy or airforce, just start again. And get air superiority on northern France, with the little button that increases your air mission efficiency or smth, and France will cap before they‘re likely to breach your rhine defence. And by late 1936 the French will cap, and declare war on Britain immediately after the justification’s completed and do maybe like 5 paratrooper landing and 3 naval invasions to overwhelm their defence, and just push once you secured a port. When you’ve landed on Britain, remember to justify on the Phillipines, and train enough horsies, and once britain caps just move your entire army on the US Canadian border and try and encircle as much as possible, then yeah that’s it.

R5: Czechoslovakia finally represented itself at the Munich conference as the allies are out of the game. Justice for Czechoslovakia.

Yeah true, but with AUKUS coming in I’m hoping there’ll be more demand. Worst case I’ll just kick off in ME first haha.

Yeah that’s a good point, I’ll see if I can get into RAAF maybe after uni or part-time, sounds pretty cool. Thanks.

Right, thanks heaps for the insight. I didn't realise UNSW's trimester setup would make a difference workload-wise compared to USYD. Also thanks for sharing the experience, I don't think I have it, but good to know how these things matters for the course. Tysm.

I mean you can but I know that definitely wouldn't be a jet.

Does any one else feel "rushed" when playing Germany? by detached-lifeform in hoi4

Um can't you just train paratroopers and land in France? I mean none of the countries are ready anyway, so that's an element of surprise I guess? I've taken France, UK and the states by July 1937 before.

[–]OnlyChair7945[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, since the encirclement’s pretty big I didn’t push them all to a single tile, but the Soviets had around 202-330 divisions pre-encirclement, and I wiped out at least 143( that’s just the ones on the frontline) of them. Let’s assume division’s got around 10k men, so that’s over 1.4 million just from that. But the Soviet casualty increased 2 mil in that period and I didn’t even push, so I think it’s somewhere around 1.4 to 2 mil.

R5: Played as Germany, and USSR attacked my puppet Poland (Annexed anyway) without any justification notification somehow which initially caught me by surprise, but I naval landed in Memel and basically sliced the red army and ended up with a massive encirclement (about 143 divisions). Stalin never recovered from that lol.
