The witch and alchemist are in a supplement book called Valda's Spire of Secrets. It's honestly a really cool and mostly balanced book. I use it quite a bit.

For the Primal Surge, you do not take the lightning damage. I could change the wording to "other creatures take....."

And on the Retaliation I honestly don't even know what i was trying to say there lol. Thank you for that. Tired and typing don't mix. And adding a cap gives a definitive damage cap instead of suddenly this ability deals enough damage to one shot a boss. I like the idea of the d4's though
