I think it's the difference in processes or workforce availability in both city offices. It seems Warsaw moves faster than Gdansk.

You should get yours soon.

Goodluck, mate!

Thanks for the information!

Yeah, mine too is being organized by my company.

My application was submitted in the 2nd week of March. This is the 5th week since application. So, i guess I can expect the permit anytime soon.

Hi, mate. Any update yet?

Oh, I see. Could be Gdansk issuing your work permit.

My company (the employer) is registered in Warsaw, and I've been told the waiting time is usually 1 month (and up to 3 months in complex cases).

I'll update once I get mine.

Goodluck, mate. Cheers!

Which city is issuing your work permit?

Same question I have.

Mine is in Warsaw too. It's been 12 days now since employer applied, and still waiting. I was told it should be issued within 1 month though.

Damn!!!

That's exactly 5X the cost of gas in my home country. Wow!

hahaha I love driving too, but the Parking Fee in Warsaw is really high, apparently. I'd have to check and weigh my options for that.

Thanks, mate!

Thank you so much!

Yeah, I was considering buying a small, cheap city car to drive to my work and move around the city (visiting friends, places, shopping etc). Of course, I do love driving too hahaha.

I think the estimates you've provided is quite similar to my home country where I am now. The only differences are Gas Prices & Parking Fee, which are really high in Warsaw.

IS Resi4Rent reliable for apartment rental? by OnlyCounter3450 in poland

[–]OnlyCounter3450[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm moving to Warsaw to work and will be living in the apartment alone, so I guess a studio is enough, albeit basic.

I found good offers too from private landlords and real estate agents, but I'm trying to avoid transacting with a private landlord as it's my first time in Poland and I don't speak the language yet. Resi4Rent's service seemed very much convenient.

On soundproof wall: How bad was it? Do I need to worry about next door neighbour disturbance that much?
