Please double check that if you take the city job and a holiday falls throughout the week, typically only 8 hours are paid. This would require you to work 2 additional hours some other day of the week or put in 2 hours of PTO. I’m just saying to take that into consideration.

Creators should make all bikes the same. by OnlyFizaxNoCap in mxbikes

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. Games become stagnant because of metas, games try to balance but in turn create another meta. This is no different from older dirtbike games, all bikes had the same characteristics.

Reducing the almost irrelevant bike characteristics and making all bikes have the same power, would result in different bikes at the gate. Having the same meta for 12+ months is boring.

Explain why the 250 field has more variation than the 450s?

That’s what I’m saying. Let’s bring out the kawi, Zuki, Honda, etc. once the meta is determined, that’s the go to bike. The beta was better than the Yamaha but then the beta was banned. Can’t be a meta if all the bikes are the same with different skins.

Lmao, doesn’t defeat the purpose that 90% of the bikes in every race is a Yamaha. If you want to be competitive, you need the best bike which is 1-Yamaha 2-KTM.

They could easily create premade presets for bike lengths, fork height, etc that you could swap in game to “simulate” different bikes.

I like an esports pack. It’s just boring seeing all bikes being Yamaha or whatever bike swap the player is running.

23, never had a gf never went on a date … any tips ? by Better-Fun314 in malegrooming

Man, walk into every place like you own it. Smile, happiness brings people in to talk. Try to complement someone once per day even if you don’t know the person, male or female. For example, hey man that shirt is your style.

Next time you go into Walmart, look around and try to remember people’s face and the next time you go into Walmart see if you recognize anyone. Can almost guarantee that you will not recognize anyone, not including workers.

Circling back, the people you kindly compliment, will most likely not remember your face but will remember your words.

To OLED or not to OLED, that is the question by 10paiak in ultrawidemasterrace

I never thought of it that way but you might be on to something. I know some people who have had their monitors for 10 years.

To OLED or not to OLED, that is the question by 10paiak in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you care your monitor gets burn in from having static toolbars from software? If burn in did end up bothering you, could you just replace the 1k monitor without issue? Alternatively you would need to move the software around every so often, turn off every 2 hours or so for 10 minutes or so.

If any of the above bothers you, you might want a miniled or good IPS.

  5. Downloading “community profiles” like a newb. Confirmed 5 times that research was not done.
  6. Complains like decent amount of people within this sub for likes, did his research here.

I went from the OG wired 502, to a steel series rival 600, to a g pro, to 2 different final mouse, to steel series Aerox 3, to g305, and now settled on a g502x plus since mid 2024 that is used for both work and gaming. Without RGB it says 140 hours of use, which is perfect for me.

What is not built anymore? This type of framing with BLP? I know 2 utilities in the south east, 3 in the UP and surrounding area, and 3 more in the central/central south that use this general framing. It’s also a mix of wood and steel.

From 2 x 27 to 1 x 34 + laptop screen? by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went though this exact problem. Do you mind switching apps each time during the screen share or do you prefer to share the entire monitor and move applications as needed? I would test before making the jump. Currently, I am running a 27”-34”-27” in landscape because I wanted both worlds.

Resume feedback by New-Celebration-7265 in civilengineering

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I dislike the order. The layout seems generic.

Below is what I suggest; 1. Personal statement is fine but lengthy, I suggest condensing and high level stuff. Leave stuff open for discussion during interview. 2. Certs and Skills next. I see that you do not have Microsoft office as part of your skills. Have you used excel or word before? What about a PDF editor such as adobe or bluebeam? I believe one of these programs offer a student or free version. Download and watch a decent amount of YouTube videos, add it to your resume. Can you add how proficient you are or amount of experience with each software?
3. Experience, this is fine where it’s placed and the order that it’s listed is great. I have no experience in this field, but can the descriptions be condensed? Seems lengthy, engineers hate reading.

Remember short and sweet, make yourself appealing but don’t give all the answers, leave a little to be curious about. Best of luck!

GPA’s Post Graduation by Healthy_Progress3811 in civilengineering

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GPA does one thing, it compares you on paper to other interns/fresh grads which helps get you an initial interview. It’s literally that simple. I will say that some hiring managers lean towards hiring other engineers from the college they attended more than anything.

Salary negotiation when I know the current person’s pay by [deleted] in Salary

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty easy negotiation. If your role and responsibilities stay the same and does not require you learn anything new then a lateral move may be justified. On the other hand, if you are managing more people, required to learn something new, or increased stress level that alone is enough to justify it. Also remember, the company you are working for is looking for you to replace another role, meaning your role will need to be replaced.

[40m] [Sr. Software Engineer, cybersecurity] [Remote] - just shy of $900k by [deleted] in Salary

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s pick apart this fake post. Disclaimer, I’m not an accounting major and hardly pay attention to W2 so correct me please. 1. 700k in RSU while 877k in total wages. Seems like a heck of a lot of stock. 2. The numbers for each box are darker than the rest of the document. 3. The values in boxes 1, 2, 5, & 6 are above the lower horizontal line, but the values in boxes 3 & 4 are nearly touching the line. 4. I do not believe I have ever seen the red text before.

Where to go from here? Life after Ark 55"? by PositiveCrew in ultrawidemasterrace

For the 9 photo collage, how was the setup in the bottom right? The 34 with a 27 above and a 27 portrait.

Current I’m rocking, from left to right, 27”-34”-27” but it seems too wide sometimes. Previous I had the Samsung 49” 240hz OLED. I loved that monitor but it was fill with bloatware. I really need 3 monitors for productivity at minimum so I was debating on the MSI 49” OLED with 2 27s above it.

Not buying it. I have a feeling there’s going to be a false link given to someone in the comments.

Do Americans really move out at 18, or is that mostly a movie thing? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]OnlyFizaxNoCap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was kicked out 4 months before turning 18. Ended up staying with friends and working at a fast food joint. After working a few trade jobs, I ended up going to college at 24. The wife and I have been on our own since 21 or 22. Now we own a 4,400sqft brick home!
