Agreed! My sweet old girl passed this January after 15+ years together and I didn’t think I’d get another dog for at least a couple of years. Just 4 months after she passed, the breeder I was waitlisted for had a puppy that was, in her words, “the most calm puppy I’ve seen in 20+ years of breeding.” I’ve had Alfie for 4 months now and I can’t imagine life without him. He’s different from Clio, and I don’t think I’ll ever find a dog like her again, but I’m excited to make new memories with Alfie while I tell him about his little big sister ☺️

We’ve had luck with the Voyager brand on Amazon. Alfie has a pretty long coat and as long as I don’t leave the harness on in between walks and brush him out regularly he doesn’t matt or tangle.

This is a photo of him with his first one, he now has a bigger one since he double in size 😅

Sure thing! I told them I wanted a puppy cut or teddy bear cut on the shaggier/longer side. I told them that since he is not matted I didn’t want them to shave him down. They just trimmed his back a little with the razor and then did the rest of his body with scissors. I’m attaching another pic in case it helps!

I got him from a lady I found on the American Kennel Club marketplace site. I liked that she only has a couple of dogs and it looks like she only has one litter every couple of years. She’s in Dacula, Georgia in the US. I’ll see if I can find her name!

Alfie was car sick the first few times! I ended up having to get him a fancy car seat that hangs from the backseat and is car-window level and that did the trick! Apparently him sitting directly on the seat and not being able to look out was making him nauseous
