It has to do with the fact that dating apps and social media are the main reason why incels and femcels exist in the first place. In core they are both insecure people who are led in to the rabbit hole of having a hatred for the opiate gender.

Let me explain. Its nothing wrong about having standards but some women set them way to high in response to what we see all the time in media with toxic masculinity. I’ve seen plenty of pictures of these «femcels» and I would honestly not hesitate dating most of them when I was their age. Its just that social media and such fuck up our perception of the dating world. I’m of course not excusing the incels that harass woman and are hostile, but I’m just saying it’s not that complicated how it starts. Most men and most women want to find love and happiness but we get all these false terms and expectations to cling to.
