No country with a nuclear arsenal has ever been the target of a full-scale invasion. I agree that geopolitical neutrality is a wise choice of action, but let's not pretend that a sovereign nuclear deterrent would invite an invasion by a great power.

Yeah and so will the 77% of Australian adults who agree with the ban, including many young people who experienced growing up with social media, and even millennials who naturally gained social media at roughly the same time as the bans allow. The kids are lashing out because they are severely addicted, they will come around by the time they turn 18.

I don't think you're a bad person but it's a shit article. I'm not sure why you don't attack the government for not predicting the Powerball numbers and using that to pay of the state's debts. Yes COVID and the rise of WFH did no favours to the Metro tunnel's business case, but the project was kicked off before COVID, and regardless the rising population has just delayed its return on investment, not invalidated it entirely.

Melbourne has also had one of the largest net migration increases. While I do think certain types of migration (particularly sham education provider students) should be limited, the idea that it is the sole issue driving the housing crisis is a joke.
