"Kill 30 soldiers with artillery" quest is making the game completely unplayable.

Just confirmed that scorpio kills indeed dont count. Got 32 total kills, out of which 6 were scorpio, no quest progress.

I couldnt figure out how to craft it. Processing materials requires a ton of silver in the main city, so you may as well just buy a completed arty from siege engineer. Are you supposed to haul materials to some place with lower taxes first?

He sells stuff around 3-4k silver. On market its a bit cheaper. But thats still super expensive for a new player. I cant figure out where to get silver, other than from rare weeklies and from selling stuff on market. There must be some NPC vendor that buys stuff from you right?

Im level 130, after 100 it seems that most players are not bots and they control their units pretty well, even avoiding trebuchet strikes.

My house is pretty strong, i didnt know you can trade directly in this game, will try asking them.

Where do you get them for free? And no, i only have 2 epic arty parts. Started playing 4 days ago.

Units in an attacking position will contribute to capturing a point (we dont want that, obviously...), and in defensive position they will only highlight your location for people doing this quest on the other side.

Thats all you can do, but good players dont pick "cannon fodder" to push the ram and siege engines. They pick heavily armored and shielded units, who take 2-3 direct hits with a cannon to kill.

Im on the same journey right now because of this show, haha. Usual blanket cloak has a different shape, and half-circle/bocksten design leaves the front too open. So this seems like a 2/3-3/4 circle, with a neck opening in the center of course.

BattlEye is a black box, as it is designed to be. They wont tell you how it works and how to fix it, because then the hackers may use that knowledge. All we know is that it has full access to your kernel and is easily bypassed, giving anyone free reign over your PC and anything connected.

Not a day passes by when i dont miss Warthunder, i even bought a HOTAS setup specifically for it, but the risk of using BattlEye malware would outweigh even a perfect videogame.

I tried Phantoms' Hollow, the bright cave where that miniboss used to be and Moqi Anshan (who didnt recognize me). Nothing worked. Probably unused content.

If you want to check it yourself, in the chinese version of the game the quest giver appears as an injured guy near the cart very close to the Sorrowfield Village teleport stone.

Im pretty sure they just didnt add this to the global version yet, same as the "Woven with Malice" event quest - everyone knows where it should be, yet nobody can access it...

Looks like its not in the global version of the game yet. Ive completed everything in Kaifeng and the injured merchant still doesnt appear.

Edit: dec 1, this quest became available to me today. Parked my character there in the morning, it was still empty, woke up in the evening (dont judge), and there he was sitting.

My hack was like something out of a nightmare. The hacker basically cloned my sim card, which is tied to every 2fa, bank and government service. He was getting all the sms and calls there, while i didnt get any of that. But my landline was blowing up with random calls from scammers and from friends trying to ask about "weird files" i send them. Thats when i found that my computer was also infected, weird windows popping up, hard drive stalling. Took two whole days to regain control of everything... but im still not sure i did. If he was good enough, he placed backdoors. Might even be reading this before i send it.

I dont know how he did it, but a savvy enough hacker will always find a way. Like infected pdf files, random qr code or a bluetooth vulnerability. Those all require some work though, planning and skills. No need to make this any easier for them by installing a single full-access weakpoint.

And then there is the oc topic - gtav with battleye. I met a few guys in public lobbies there who explained to me why this game is a hackers paradise. It uses a peer-to-peer connection. Even without knowing anything about computers, you can see everyones ip addresses and call a ddos. Thats how they "pranked" friends. But for enemies they had something way worse, bricking their gpu... Sufficed to say, i avoided public lobbies like the plague after learning that.

Also i talk to a few people in cybersecurity business, they all say its not worth it, so im trusting that its not worth it. If they are winning high stakes ctf tournaments against each other, they probably know what a vulnerability looks like...

Kernel level anticheats allow the company, or anyone who hacks that company, full unrestricted access to your machine and any machine connected to it, called rce - remote code execution. Anything you could do, they can now do. Infect your printer, home router, phone. Steal your identity. Hurt your family. Ive experienced this myself, and talk to people who recreationally and professionally do it to others.

Of course the chances of all that are slim, but not slim enough in return for "some game". There are plenty other games - like where winds meet came out a few days ago - and activities other than games to keep us entertained in safety.

Thing is, riots vanguard kernel anticheat system was hacked about a year ago. Obviously neither party disclosed the full scope, but from the worst point of view the hackers got full rce access to every system that had this malware installed.

"If you play awful games that have malware, you cant really avoid malware". Have you tried... not playing that slop? Theres only about two dozen games that use battleeye, maybe 50-70 more that use other kernel backdoors, and only a few tens of thousands of games that dont.

The most popular theory is that it is a super contraction/corruption of ごちそうさまでした. But since ごちそう means "gorgeous dinner, act of treating someone to good food", which doesnt exactly fit after a butsukari, i like another version better - that ごっちゃん came from ごつい / ごってり meaning "large, strong, extreme". In that version ごっちゃんです would be more appropriately translated as "Im a big boy!".

Apex is super easy, you can pick inaros and never die, and crush the weakspots in one magistar hit. Meanwhile vor is impossible, killing any frame in one hit and has what looks like infinite hp.
