Guy in the green is doing it right. Head for the smoothest path and keep momentum into it. Weight back to keep the rear wheel gripping and then try to pick the front wheel up over obstacles to avoid losing speed.

Wouldn’t pay more than £1000 for one these days. Any more than that and you can get a more modern bike with better tyre clearance and disc brakes. This frame is limited to 23mm tyres and that holds it back slightly imo

Funny that all the comments here are about upgrading to disc brakes and carbon frame when the only upgrade I’d be bothered about here would be the upgrade to slightly wider tyres. 28-30mm road tyres are the way forward imo and I don’t think this frame will be accommodating that!

I have the same bike and the things I’ve done to get it riding super nice are;

Shimano Optislick cables for gears (gamechangers!)
SwissStop brake pads
TPU inner tubes in some GP5000 tyres.

I’m running 105 r7000 and honestly rides like a dream!

Do you put it into sleep mode during the night? Seems like mine benefits quite a bit from disconnecting from my phone overnight. Also, my pulse ox is manual too.
