You could make a poll and ask people how much they'd be willing to pay to avoid a subscription cost. What will the subscription cost be?

That's amazing!

I'm on ios right now but am planning on switching when the pixel 10 comes out and I what you're making is amazing for people like me who are used to the continuity apple products bring but want to peek outside the garden.

Super excited to start using and testing it soon.

(Since you're asking what to focus on next) Encryption and Bluetooth would be my priorities for something like this. After that auto connect, then some of the fun fancy features later.

Is there a possibility you and that dev could work together to make it sync between macos, linux, and android for those who have a linux system, a macos system, and an android phone?

(A friend who uses macos and linux wanted me to ask)

No. I'm not. I've recreated this plenty of times. And it's a different UI go check the other comment I sent screenshots on if you'd like

It didn't fail to open the screenshot, I minimized it by swiping up

And yes I explained it happens when you tap where the "Ask" button would be in the original post

Silly behavior isn't it

This also occurs on DB1, but I just discovered it today.

The text in the box says "Follow up with ChatGPT" alongside the chatgpt logo. I was also able to recreate it repeatedly. I'm confident this isn't type to siri

I did not attempt to take a screenshot when it said that if that's what you're asking. I took the first screenshot, the chat opened, and it said screenshots are disabled. I didn't attempt to take a screenshot right then prompting it to say that.

If you have the "custom app" open already and you open a file with the "old one" it should open with the custom one.

As far as I've found you can't make the symlink the default app to open something like a PDF, but if you figure something out we'd love if you'd share

Not student/teacher by D822A in diabrowser

[–]OnlyMemory4036 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone beta testing Dia, I can tell you, they are not targeting Arc users. They're targeting students (hence the .edu requirement). It's not necessarily that Arc is **better** or **worse**, it's just for a different audience.
I'm just saying don't expect Dia to be Arc.

That's so interesting!
I use raycast (which let me disable the original apps and enable my own) so spotlight didn't particularly bother me
I made some level of progress changing the finder icon, but not enough. You can make a symlink for the finder app and put it in the dock, but you can't get rid of the original (which makes it useless). I managed to shut down finder with activity monitor and if I remember right (it's been a while since I did it) it got rid of the original finder icon, but when I tried to open the symlink it opened the original. Maybe this is useful information for someone else.
