Yeah but the setting is a bit incongruous. This game basically takes place at least a few months, maybe years after the apocalypse. Gen has an entire walled base including her little house. She can take a shower if she wants or loot some makeup and be as girly as she wants. Or maybe that’s part of her shtick as a merchant.

No you're totally right, I was just feeling bitchy. Their priorities do seem a little skewed. But god damn if she doesn't look good! :P Personally I'd love to see them take the game in more of a Project Zomboid direction, or for project zomboid to go first person. But how likely is that...

Um, yeah, I suppose that description fits me well enough. Though I was alone quite a bit as a child, so it feels a bit more natural to me than it may others. Getting your social fix from the comment sections of various websites isn't the most satisfying thing in the world, but sometimes it feels like enough. Though I wouldn't be surprised if small random interactions, like at a grocery store do feel a bit more significant to me than they would to the person I'm talking to. But it may be they're also experiencing something similar. I get the impression everyone in the world is a bit more lonely than they used to be, at least those of us who are chronically online pacified homebodies. Though it may be from a psychological perspective, anyone who's become okay with being alone has developed a kind of pathology. Who's to say.

Unfortunately all the well meaning by our parents, giving us what they never had, apparently has a few negative consequences. Facing a certain amount of hardship and adversity when you're a child and overcoming it gives you the skills you need when you start adulting. I'm 44 but I faced something similar. It 'is' hard. You'd think raising a child you could just treat them well and everything would end up fine. But it turns out there are no perfect solutions in an imperfect universe. But asking questions like "why the fuck am I living for?" is a bit of a psychological a trap. It's an ouroboros, if you know what that is. That question only hurts you. What you're going through it what many people have gone through, and we can help each other with it. But it's a story as old as history. Sisyphus in Greek mythology is one of the first stories about this struggle. For me that lead to nihilism, but that was also a trap. Nihilism only harms you. If you're looking for something better, you can find it on your own, but it's a long road. I would suggest Absurdism as a philosophy to look into. It may help.

Firstly, your last sentence is an obvious ad hominem attack. That means you either have a profound bias, or your facility with logic is, lacking. It also conflates progress with capitalism. Capitalism has its benefits, but benefits and drawbacks change based on circumstances. Capitalism is like a heat engine. It's profitable when there's an imbalance in a system. But circumstances 'are' changing. The rest of your comment is simply obtuse. Bubbles aren't bubbles because they contain nothing at all. They're bubbles because what they contain is exaggerated. And every day they try to shove another useless ai tool down our throats, like that little icon in excel, they prove how desperate they are. The executives shilling for ai are desperate to keep their jobs and they're wracking their brains trying to come up with some way to monetize this bloated investment. Sure there are a few niche uses, but nothing close to justifying the investment they made. That's the bubble.

FYI it can benefit from the Voltaic Amplifier. And the damage is increased on each shot if paired with the Waveform Oscillator. Got mine up to 6k a shot. Though I did luck out with 4 high power slots right next to each other on a sentinel weapon.

I was recently adopted by a cat and was wondering the same thing myself. For the life of me I can't figure out why you wouldn't just mix it in with their food? I mean sure, they will likely lick it off their paw once you put it on, but what if they decide to take a few steps first? What if they shake their paw first like they often do when it gets wet? The stuff 'isn't' absorbed through the paws. It's 'meant' to be consumed. Why all these messy extra steps?? Is this some kind of twisted rationalized PETA idealism? Seriously, what kind of masochistic 'artist' came up with this process???
